Speaker of The House ^ | January 20, 2013 | John Boehner

To give Congress time to pass a budget, the House of Representatives will vote this week on a temporary three-month debt limit increase. But if the House or Senate fails to pass a budget in that time, Members of Congress will not be paid. Here are some facts to remember:

That's the sad truth that we need 'conservatives' to understand.

The RINO Repubs pre-emptively surrender with a tiny bit of face saving to cover their (yet again) retreat on issues that matter to the Repub Base.

And it is not a loss of pay...only a postponement.
With interest, with our luck.

Why not just say no cuts, no debt increase?

Sure be nice if the Repubs would support their Base even half as courageously as the Dems support theirs.

(wishful thinking)

Our problem: weak friends, strong enemies.

“Why not just say no cuts, no debt increase?”

Saw Boehner and Cantor following Obama and Biden out after the coronation today, to go “do lunch” together. The Republican party has lost its soul.
