The Department of Homeland Security has released their 2011 "Analysts Desktop Binder," detailing how the department has been monitoring activity on the internet and social networks. The binder includes an extensive list of key words and search terms carefully watched by analysts in multiple agencies including the Directorate for National Protection and Programs, Directorate for Science and Technology, Office of Health Affairs, the Transportation Security Administration (TSA), the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) and others. Many monitored search terms are basic and used on a regular basis by every day American citizens and journalists.

I thought it was a bad thing to have binders.

Only if they are full of women.

I must redouble my efforts. I search many times a day for HOT CHICKS and it wasn't on the list. I will try harder!

They released this info for one reason: THIS IS YOUR LAST WARNING!

Isn’t it scary that EVERYONE on the internet is being watched. This has to be alien technology!

By the way, be sure and watch PERSON OF INTEREST tonight. Everything in that show is probably real.

" Maritime domain awareness is the effective understanding of anything associated with the global maritime domain that could impact the United States’ security, safety, economy, or environment. A range of federal departments and agencies will need to coordinate closely to identify threats as early and as distant from our shores as possible. By unifying U.S. government efforts and supporting international efforts, this Plan will help achieve maritime domain awareness across the federal government, with the private sector and civil authorities within the U.S., and with our allies and partners around the world.

MDA is a key component of an active, layered, maritime defense-in-depth. Maritime domain awareness will be achieved by improving our ability to collect, fuse, analyze, display, and disseminate actionable information and intelligence to operational commanders and decision makers. "

There, you have it.

humph, Emergency Broadcast System is on the list. Yet the FCC killed EBS about fifteen years ago and replaced it with the Emergency Alert System.

I feel sorry for the reporter who writes anything close to the following:

“The POLICE SWAT TEAM (DMAT) and LAW ENFORCEMENT AUTORITIES took the INITIATIVE and put a MILITIA FACILITY on EMERGENCY LOCKDOWN in RESPONSE to the EXPLOSIVE INCIDENT and SECURITY BREACH.”

That's probably because there's still full benefit employees of the EBS. In Washington, nothing ever really goes away.....look at Bill Clinton.

From Wikipedia:
Maritime domain awareness (MDA) is defined by the International Maritime Organization as the effective understanding of anything associated with the maritime domain that could impact the security, safety, economy, or environment.[1] The maritime domain is defined as all areas and things of, on, under, relating to, adjacent to, or bordering on a sea, ocean, or other navigable waterway, including all maritime-related activities, infrastructure, people, cargo, and vessels and other conveyances.
Now, all you folks talking about losing guns out of boats on the lake are really in deep do-do, especially if the words accident or incident were involved.

Link You can add the code to the code on your profile page. Then if you go to the statcounter site, it tracks the IPs, location, etc. of people who view your profile page.

I don't look at it much but a few years ago I was blogging and had it on my blog. So, I added it here also.

I saw some freaky IPs in both locations at that time.
