Breaking. Some of them MAY have escaped. If so, they are a lucky bunch for sure.

There are reports that some Americans are among those who escaped.

Well think about it. If you knew Obama was running the show back here, would you wait around for a rescue?

Thanks for the info kristinn. When seconds count, never call D.C. for help. The current crowd in D.C. works for the enemy.

Consider the source. We can hope it is wrong.

Thirty-five hostages and 15 of their captors were killed in Algeria on Jan. 17 as they tried to move from one location to another at the facility where the hostages are being held, Al Jazeera reported on its Twitter feed.

So far this morning I’ve seen three conflicting reports- some hostages killed but “foreigners” escaped including Americans. Other reports say ALL hostages dead and the headline on DRUDGE at the moment asks “Where Are The Americans”?

My guess is obama did NOT want a hostage situation to distract from installing his leftist agenda and gave green light for the op. If it fails he blames them. If it succeeds he claims credit for plannimg it and assisting the algerians etc. Obama doesn’t care if they are dead or alive. He just wants it to go away.

6m ago

A local source has told Reuters that six foreign hostages and eight rebels were killed in the Algerian strike on the gas complex. Again, we cannot confirm this.

9m ago

According to Mauritania’s ANI news agency, a spokesperson for the kidnappers says that seven western hostages are still alive: three Belgians, two Americans, one Japanese and one Briton.

We cannot verify this.

The spokesperson urged the oil company to intervene to treat the injured hostages, according to ANI.

An unspecified number of hostages escaped from Islamist militants in southern Algeria, the BBC reported Jan. 17, citing Algerian security officials. One official told AP that at least 20 foreigners, including Americans and Europeans, had escaped. Algeria’s private Ennahar TV said 15 foreigners escaped, while another security source told Reuters the total was 25

Look for President Pimp With A TelePrompTer to take credit for the survivors (if any) and blame Republicans for the dead.

Am I going nuts here or is the communist propaganda machine aka the MSM, completely ignoring all this? All last night, even on my local news channel, all they reported about was the admitted foreign born twice unconstitutionally elected POTUS (and supposed professor of constitutional law) practicing unconstitutional infringement on the 2nd amendment. Not one mention of what is happening in Algeria.

The bias is incredible here. Let us not report anything that will make the Imperial POTUS look bad. All they care about is taking away the law abiding individuals ability for defense because it worked so well in Benghazi didn’t it? Stand down!

We could have used the Algerian Army in Benghazi.

This is the same al qaeda affiliate that killed our ambassador and the 3 other Americans. — The AQIM. and this gas plant is on the Libyan border.
We need to cover this up. It is embarrassing to Hillary. She must dispatch the FBI who just started their investigation a bit late on Benghazi. Maybe she will have another head ache over this failure of US policy.??think?
