AP now reporting “...50 dead.” What the heck? Did Algeria bomb the whole place? Mass confusion at this point.
Yeah it’s pretty wild.
Algeria has told Britain that an operation is in progress at the gas plant, a spokesman for the British Foreign Office said in London. “The Algerian authorities have confirmed that there is an ongoing operation,” the spokesman said
They didn’t waste any time.
“The Presidential flight jacket is always ready for circumstances like this ”
Remember when Pres. Bush flew a jet onto a carrier deck and the Leftist media had a cow that he was photographed in a flight suit? Now the weasel in the White House dons his CIC costume every chance he gets, and the Obamedia eats it up. Sickening.
Look for President Pimp With A TelePrompTer to take credit for the survivors (if any) and blame Republicans for the dead.
ALJAZEERA reporting hostages were in a convoy when attacked by Algerian helos. ALL hostages reported DEAD! So says Aljazeera.
No idea if true or not...
We need to see this confirmed by Al Gore.
I’m sure the Prez and he staff have been in a crisis situation room, since the very beginning of this hostage crisis.
The Algerian army now controls the natural gas processing facility that had been seized by militants, an army official said Jan. 17, TSA reported. As the intervention in Mali continues, militants could flow across the Algerian-Malian border in ever increasing numbers, raising the likelihood of attacks against Westerners and energy infrastructure in the country.
Especially at "this altitude".
nobama was too busy fondling children (not his own) and signing dozens of likely unconstitutional executive orders (prior to leaving for the golf course). The secy-of-state is stumbling around falling down somewhere, looking for another full decanter. As to the captives...you’re on your own...good luck!
Am I going nuts here or is the communist propaganda machine aka the MSM, completely ignoring all this? All last night, even on my local news channel, all they reported about was the admitted foreign born twice unconstitutionally elected POTUS (and supposed professor of constitutional law) practicing unconstitutional infringement on the 2nd amendment. Not one mention of what is happening in Algeria.
The bias is incredible here. Let us not report anything that will make the Imperial POTUS look bad. All they care about is taking away the law abiding individuals ability for defense because it worked so well in Benghazi didn’t it? Stand down!
Yes, this is getting very little reporting. Very strange.
The military response attacks didn’t start happening until this AM, so there would have been nothing on last night about that. Both of my papers this AM had the hostage taking aove the fold. Let’s see how big the evening news tonight cover this. I bet it leads or second item everywhere.
Where is the youtube video that caused this? Obambi wants to know!
Fox just said they awaiting State Dept briefing... not sure how long till then.
Panetta called it terrorism, so that must be the code word for “don’t cover this, it was done by Obama’s cousins.”
This is the difference between terrorism and work place violence in this administations play book:
Terrorism only happens outside the US. In the US, it is work place violence or militant right wing extremists bent on undermining the benevolent wonderful one.
That makes sense.
We could have used the Algerian Army in Benghazi.
This is the same al qaeda affiliate that killed our ambassador and the 3 other Americans. — The AQIM. and this gas plant is on the Libyan border.
We need to cover this up. It is embarrassing to Hillary. She must dispatch the FBI who just started their investigation a bit late on Benghazi. Maybe she will have another head ache over this failure of US policy.??think?
