Breaking. Some of them MAY have escaped. If so, they are a lucky bunch for sure.
There are reports that some Americans are among those who escaped.
Well think about it. If you knew Obama was running the show back here, would you wait around for a rescue?

First reports, did they escape or were they killed?
Where's Obama? Is he leading the Navy Seal raid again?
Quick, how can this be made into a Glorious Victory for our Dear Leader?

Consider the source. We can hope it is wrong.
Thirty-five hostages and 15 of their captors were killed in Algeria on Jan. 17 as they tried to move from one location to another at the facility where the hostages are being held, Al Jazeera reported on its Twitter feed.
The Presidential “flight jacket” is always ready for circumstances like this
No idea if true or not...
So says AlGorezeera.
So far this morning I’ve seen three conflicting reports- some hostages killed but “foreigners” escaped including Americans. Other reports say ALL hostages dead and the headline on DRUDGE at the moment asks “Where Are The Americans”?
My guess is obama did NOT want a hostage situation to distract from installing his leftist agenda and gave green light for the op. If it fails he blames them. If it succeeds he claims credit for plannimg it and assisting the algerians etc. Obama doesn’t care if they are dead or alive. He just wants it to go away.
Yep, get those troubling reports through the news cycle quickly, so he doesn’t have to think about them when he gives his inaugural address and state of the union coming up. That way he can freely talk about how he has single-handedly brought us gun reforms, immigration reforms, gay/lesbian reforms, etc., the list goes on and on.

A local source has told Reuters that six foreign hostages and eight rebels were killed in the Algerian strike on the gas complex. Again, we cannot confirm this.

According to Mauritania’s ANI news agency, a spokesperson for the kidnappers says that seven western hostages are still alive: three Belgians, two Americans, one Japanese and one Briton.
We cannot verify this.
The spokesperson urged the oil company to intervene to treat the injured hostages, according to ANI.
