Why Are We Paying For A War Being Waged Against Us? By Jim Johnson January 16, 2013
Before putting the stamp on that tax return, or hitting submit on that e-file, hold on a minute. This could be a lawful way (and perhaps the best way) to send a clear message to governments across the country:
Hold up all tax payments to the last moment maybe even longer.
Hear me out, America.
This is about more than the Second Amendment issue, and well get to that in a moment. The next so-called crisis the out-of-control federal government is facing is the debt-ceiling. They have already raised taxes on everyone. Even those who support this current administration are upset learning that while there was a pledge only to tax the rich, we all found out that we are all in fact rich. Their spending is out of control. Layoffs are being announced everywhere, while government employees got pay raises. And now, theyre even saying they need more money our money.
Weve done everything to send a message, and get the word out. We have called, faxed, emailed, protested. We patiently stood in long lines to make a point. We gave money, votes and time to elected officials who ignore the will and the rights of their own constituents.
If youre tired, frustrated and feel helpless, know that youre not alone. Your neighbors and co-worker have been complaining . Ive heard them. I dont think we have a political party strong enough to defend our positions. This is a moment in America history where we must hang together, or as you can see, plans are in the works to hang us separately in one way or another.
A Solution:
They want our money, and they want our liberty. They cant have both. I submit we hold any tax payments from NOW until the last legal moment. Hold it in escrow. And if they push further, who knows? You may decide its time your money has a better use than feeding the machine. We deal with that when it comes.
Now is the perfect time. Many governments across America live like many of us: paycheck to paycheck. As far as the federal government goes, most of our taxes are paying interest on money theyve already borrowed. Everything else is just more debt . Much of that debt is to foreigners who will soon be calling the shots if theyre not already.
So if money talks, now is the perfect time to let it start talking.
Perhaps the problem on our side has been strategy. For too long, we have been putting all our cards on the table, working to keep them at bay. Maybe its time to pull our cards OFF the table, and say "bring it on!".
This would be the first step. It takes unity and commitment of purpose. But if we could put this off even until April 15th, it would send a clear message to all the would-be tyrants out there. You want to wage war against us? Well, lets see how far down the economic abyss you want to go.
And about those guns
Lets face it: People are scared. Folks are not just buying guns at record pace, but ammunition as well. We all know ammo is not purchased as a collector item. And there isnt an elected public servant that doesnt understand the true intention of the Second Amendment. The vast majority of America certainly does. I submit there is no further use explaining it to anyone else. The message is clear on both sides : There will be no compromise on this issue. Its now a matter of how and when government will use force and coercion to disarm the public and in what manner the public responds.
The message is being received by government about this issue. In fact, the speed of the New York legislation was out of fear the public would respond quickly by acquiring anything deemed illegal in their actions. Think about that for a minute.
But its not just gun-owners that are targeted. It is taxpayers. Its all of us. It makes sense that governments would want to disarm citizens. After all, no thief wants to rob an armed residence.
I submit we stop playing defense, and go on offensive. Its called civil disobedience and it has worked in the past. Again, if millions of us could hold off paying taxes as long as possible, we would at least send a message to each other that we are not alone. And if/when they push harder, we push back harder. I suspect there are others out there with different ideas on how to right this ship, but thats no reason to write off this idea.
No more depression and frustration. No more spinning our wheels. No more speculating keyboard warriors predicting the worse outcomes just to prove their point. We know what the problems are. Quit sitting there waiting for someone else to do something. We need solutions. And a few good leaders who will lead and followers committed to the battle. Most importantly, we need to know there is resistance to tyranny out there. Yes, its tough out here, but were Americans. If we stick together, we will get through this, and come out better on the other side. Meanwhile, its time to face the facts:
We are the last line of defense, America. War has been declared on us.
ts time we started acting like it.

At the least, file for an extension. Make them WAIT.
In my case, I’m getting a (small) refund. I’m filing as soon as I get the forms from my employer— thus removing money from the system ASAP.
Good strategy, though, if you’re having to pay this year.
I must say, I like that idea as well. Whatever it takes to push the envelope.
HMmmm,
scratches chin,,,
Very Interesting.
Change Withholding???
thinking Ahead,,

Strategize personal finances to starve the beast. It’s the only way to start turning the tide on runaway statism. Voting doesn’t help, writing strongly worded memos does no good - only depriving the statists of the power of the purse will start to reduce their ability to heap more liberty choking rules on us.
