The University of Texas women's track coach who resigned under fire after the disclosure of an affair with a female student a decade ago doesn't understand why she was targeted for punishment and questions whether she's being treated fairly.
"Is it because I have a disability? Is it because I'm black? Is it because I'm female? Is it because I'm successful? Is it now because of my sexual preference?" Coach Bev Kearney asked on CNN's "Starting Point" Tuesday.

I'll take "None of the above.".
Amazing that the thought, "Gee, I'm probably not supposed to diddle with students in my charge." didn't make her top five.
Does she have a ‘recognized’ disability? If she is coaching women’s track etc....
OR has ‘carpet munching’ been declared a disability?
.
It’s because you took advantage of a minor while in a position of trust.
Is that too hard to understand?
No, she had a genuine disability....read the article. But you don’t get a “free pass” on ethics just because you’re hurt.
The piece of trash is leaving no stone unturned, slinging everything she can to see what sticks, or whom will come to her her aid. Race card, check, gender card, check, sexual identity card, check.
‘Leaving no stone unturned’ - definitely, and observe, please, the slippery slope of ‘anything goes’ and ‘your truth is not my truth.’
A defining characteristic of liberalism is refusal to accept, or even acknowlege, the consequences of your own actions. If anything bad happens, it’s got to be somebody else’s fault.
translation: “I'm just not sure which victim card I'm suppose to play.”
How hard is coaching track? “Stay to the inside and hurry back.”
Let's play Litigation Jeopardy!!! I'll take reasons to sue, Alex, for $1 million.
She was in the process of negotiating a raise and contract extension when this was brought forward. It’s unsure who made the accusations or how long the University knew of them.

I am sorry to admit it, but the ‘headline’ was about all I really wanted to know here...Probably shouldn’t have commented but some things just ‘have’ to be responded to.
So, SHE is a TRUE Quifecta,
Black, Female, Handicapped, Lesbian and (in her words) Successful (which in some communities is a ‘disability’ in itself)
For her, yes it is.
It’s time to take some affirmative action here.
Liberals....Everything is so good until you are caught!
UT calls for $$ all the time. They cannot understand why we do not give back! Finally told them we do not agree with the university’s liberal leanings...excuse me falling face down!!!....so calls have slowed somewhat!
in case you haven’t noticed, it is because you preyed on your student
She is wearing a cross.
I’m not sure why she’s trash. There’s a lot to admire here. She’s a winning coach. She fought back from an accident that would leave most totally disabled. But she made a mistake. Sounds like the 20 year old left her after she was in the accident. I think a reprimand and maybe some counseling would have been appropriate. If she had been diddling little girls it would be different.

“Im not sure why shes trash.”
She’s trash because, instead of accepting responsibility for her actions, her first instinct is to play the victim card to avoid responsibility. The side effect of her actions, and everyone like her, is that REAL victims who really are being discriminated against are not taken as seriously.
