Blumenthal “when I was in VietNam”...oh wait, I mistakenly “over spoke”....?????...another Jon F’n Kerry
While I certainly understand the why behind this, I just can’t understand how people can think that this would really fix the problem. Unless someone has something on file with the fed govt that shows they shouldn’t have a weapon or ammunition, this is just a waste. I would like to see some statistics on how many customers are actually refused permission because of a background check.
- background check to join a union?
- background check to get an abortion?
- background check of gay couples to get married?
- background check of all blacks not to be slaves?
- background check to be a Congressman, a Senator, a President?
oh shutup dickie-poo!
if you can’t say anything constructive, keep your lizardly pie hold shut!
jerk!
really, when is he going to round up the criminals too?
the left always use a tragedy to push their leftist agenda and the dopes keep voting these fools in.
Gun rights is in the constitution, marriage, homo, cross dressing, etc is not, this is where and what the left does not understand
Makes a lot of sense... imagine a mass killer crazie, foiled at buying guns, buying lots of ammo. He could harm A LOT of people in that movie theater by wantonly throwing ammo at them! And, should he be throwing high capacity magazines... oh the carnage!
Could someone please tell me when we have reached the level of our basic civil rights being infringed upon?
The Oppressives claim that the 2nd amendment has it's limits or something well with the myriad of laws on the books that punish the innocent hasnt that basic right already been limited?
*** Another senseless shooting is giving gun control supporters another example to point to as they make their case in their quest for gun law changes on a national level.***
The point is to get a gun law in at any price, then make it tougher over years.
When John Kennedy was killed the media demanded an end to the import of 5 shot army surplus rifles and handguns. For crime control they said, but the real reason was to protect the Conn and Mass gun industry from cheap foreign rifles.
When Bobby Kennedy was killed with an American made handgun the media immediately led the charge into a panic against foreign made handguns.
When the 1968 Gun control law was passed it only stopped the import of evil 5 shot bolt action army surplus rifles and small foreign made handguns.
It did not even ban the manufacture of the very handgun used to kill Bobby, or the rifle used against Martin Luther King.
Once the 1968 law was in place, then they began a move on American made handguns and later rifles.

“I’m convinced that we have to have federal legislation to build on. We’re going to have to take one step at a time, and the first step is necessarily given the political realities going to be very modest.
Of course, it’s true that politicians will then go home and say, ‘This is a great law. The problem is solved.’ And it’s also true that such statements will tend to defuse the gun-control issue for a time.
So then we’ll have to strengthen that law, and then again to strengthen that law, and maybe again and again. Right now, though, we’d be satisfied not with half a loaf but with a slice. Our ultimate goal total control of handguns in the United States is going to take time.
My estimate is from seven to ten years. The problem is to slow down the increasing number of handguns sold in this country.
The second problem is to get them all registered. And the final problem is to make the possession of all handguns and all handgun ammunition except for the military, policemen, licensed security guards, licensed sporting clubs, and licensed gun collectors totally illegal.”

These idiots are just launching yet another huge black market and as a result, thousands will die over the decades attempting to stop and or protect shipments of illegal ammunition and weapons into and across the U.S..
That’s if America is not plunged into a revolution first.
A note today from Sheriff Richard Mack:
Dear Friends and Patriots,
We recently had Sheriff Joe Arpaio at our CSPOA Convention. He’s been a good friend of mine over the years and I want to show my support for his latest initiative to protect children.
Instead of merely talking about what should or shouldn’t be done about guns, he is taking action. He is deploying his posse to patrol the schools in his county.
Of course, he has many critics, especially from those that would infringe upon our second amendment rights. But just like the loyal patriot and protector that he is, Sheriff Joe is taking action.
The Obama Administration’s task force will spend millions of tax-payer dollars to talk about how to violate the second amendment under the guise of protecting our children.
What Sheriff Joe is doing is taking action to protect our children and our right to protect ourselves.
I would encourage everyone to call their local Sheriff’s department and tell them what is happening in Maricopa County. Let’s take action to protect our children!

On Dec. 21, Razzino wrote "Ready to just off something." On Dec. 25, he posted the message, "I can honestly say this was the worst xmas ever ... Happiness seems 2 b an illusion at this point."
U.S. Sen. Richard Blumenthal said he wants legislation that would require instant background checks for the sale of gun ammunition.
And that sad sack Facebook post would be incorporated into a background check exactly how?
Maybe he should work on his plan for creating jobs before he worries about regulating ammo sales.
