While I certainly understand the why behind this, I just can’t understand how people can think that this would really fix the problem. Unless someone has something on file with the fed govt that shows they shouldn’t have a weapon or ammunition, this is just a waste. I would like to see some statistics on how many customers are actually refused permission because of a background check.

the elft doens;t want illegals and voters checked to see if they can vote legally but my rights due to the law , the constitution are to be ignored by these clowns.

why does our side still call them the Dem party, they are not they are the socialist party or the Marxist party and need to be called this at every turn plus our side needs to go after the media like they have never seen.
I;m sick of the scum bags at the media always telling lies and pushing their lefty agenda and then their voters are too dumb to understand this and then we even get trolls on our side trying to sound as if we should reach out to this crap

We went through that nonsense here back in the late 1960s. Every time you bought even so much as a little box of .22lr, the vendor was equired to record your name, address, and driver license in a ledger which was subsequently provided to state police. After a time, the program was dropped because it was found to have no/no measurable impact on crime, and was too cumbersome for the state to continue supporting.
