Just call him Al Gorezeera.
Yesterday morning, the still shell shocked staff at Current TV was called to an all hands staff meeting at its San Francisco headquarters, which was teleconferenced to their offices in LA and NYC, to meet their new bosses.
That would be two of Al Jazeeras top guys: Ehab Al Shihabi, executive director of international operations, and Muftah AlSuwaidan, general manager of the London bureau.
Ominously missing was the creator of Current, the self proclaimed inventor of the Internet and savior of clean energy, Al Gore, although his partner, Joel Hyatt, stood proudly with the Al Jazeera honchos.
Of course Al didnt show up, said one high placed Current staffer. He has no credibility.
Hes supposed to be the face of clean energy and just sold [the channel] to very big oil, the emir of Qatar! Current never even took big oil advertisingand Al Gore, that bulls***ter sells to the emir?
The displeasure with Gore among the staff was thick enough to cut with a scimitar.

Enjoy those $300 a week unemployment insurance checks while Big Al adds over $100,000,000 to his bank account, suckers! Reminds me of when Zsa Zsa Huffington sold her blog out from under all her volunteer writers for millions! LOL
Now, the question is....does Al have any taxes to pay out of this sale? My bet is that he pays next to nothing on his profit.
I suspect many of Current’s staff are gay. Working for an Islamist employer has to give them pause.
Will the female employees now have to wear burkas?
Ha! Al Gorezeera! - It fits.
The ‘staff’ has nothing to complain about. If you lie down with dogs, don’t complain if you get fleas.
Help me get 42,000 likes on my Algore Jazeera fb page
Then I’ll have a bigger audience than Gore
although his partner, Joel Hyatt Zylberberg
