“The Sunday Morning Bray”, by Bray!

The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me to preach good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to release the oppressed, Luke 4:18

What if everything the Republican Party knows about elections is false? Our little group out in Oregon has been doing everything against the established methods and finding our methods win elections. In a Blue Tide which swept the Dems back into power in the state we not only won elections but won them in bigger margins than almost anywhere in the state and spent less money. What if money and commercials mean nothing in a campaign and all of our formulas are completely wrong? What if the print media is ignored by the voters and the candidates don’t need to cater to it? This is what our data is pointing towards.

It is time for the secular atheists running our Party to make a decision. We are no longer playing a cute game any longer but are fighting for the actual survival of the American way of life. Unless the secularists and arm length believers are absolutely sure of evolution being the truth of our creation then they need to turn their backs on this fraud and embrace God. Rather than playing games that God is some sort of myth and their being above religion it is time for them to question evolution and examine the holes you can drive a freight train through. We are in a complete meltdown of our society right now thanks to Godlessness so the time for playing cute games is over.

The Republican Party has become every bit as Godless as the Dems. Sure it is populated by true believers yet they are the minority whose beliefs are ignored by the secularists who control the Party. Over and over we hear how we must keep our religion out of politics while the Dems make their cult religion the foundation of their politics. We have millions of Christians who would not only vote but would become hard working activists if the Party would actually give them a reason to be involved. The Party would rather ignore these potential voters than give up their precious belief in evolution and the even more ridiculous theory of pandering to the Democrat voter.

It is time for the secularists to put up or shut up. When kids are shooting kids and have nothing to hold onto it is long overdue to take a real direction. Either Darwinism is a fact that can be proven beyond a doubt or it is more junk science. Even Darwin said if it couldn’t be proved within twenty years of his discovery than it was not a valid theory.

We have gone over 150 years and we have yet to find a single transitory fossil which can be absolutely documented without huge questions. We have not found any human missing links that were not a modern man or an ape/pig composition. It has gotten so bad they gave up on the primordial soup making the earliest form of life when they had to admit the volcanic eruptions would have sanitized the earth completely. These are not holes they are craters in this theory the scientists still cling to since it is the basis of their godless religion. Darwinism is either real or false and everyone has to finally make that decision once and for all. It is time for the Darwinists to put up or admit it is a fraud to promote atheism.

The secularists in our Party still cling to their Godless beliefs since they don’t want to enter the social issue war and fight it on an easier yet weaker fiscal argument. This too is a false premise. While they are trying to make friends and trying not to alienate the Dems and Independents they completely write off the Christians and believers. You hear over and over how you have to appeal to the middle and ignore the Christians who will vote anyway since they have nowhere else to go. This is a false premise since you actually hear over and over at the doors of Christians and especially Pro Lifers they will not vote for someone who supports abortion. So for every supposed Pro Abortion vote they get they are losing one or more Pro Lifer so the Life issue not only does not hurt them it may in fact help them. We have an example in Bend where the candidate was in a heavy Dem district and he won by a large margin and actually ran on his Pro Life stand. What if everything we think we know about elections is absolutely wrong?

The other major myth is the media can make or break you. We have a number of examples of that not being the case. We ran our ballot measures against Light Rail in both Clackamas and East Washington Counties with the media universally against them and making up all sorts of doomsday charges in the papers and TV. The entire establishmedia monopoly was doing everything they could to defeat these measures since they were at the heart of big gummit planning and the measures all won by 60% or better.

We also have numerous examples of candidates including Romney spending huge amounts of money on commercials and attempting to get those precious Dems to vote for them and coming up well short. We were not able to see one example of this method having any affect to the point of having candidates who spent no money on commercials actually outperforming them. People have become accustomed to digital media and know how to minimize its affect. When you have two hundred channels and a channel changer none of these commercials are going to be watched let alone have an effect.

We ran our campaigns way outside the mainstream and since we were amateurs who had no preconceived bias we were able to look at elections in a new way. We never followed the established formula which was followed with certain expectations or rules we ran it from the gut. What we have found is the secularists are wrong and have held the Party down when people are looking for real people with common sense solutions. Secularists have no answers only the same old tired clichés the Dems have while trying to conquer the middle. Conservatives have as good or better chance of being elected if they run their campaigns in a new and more targeted grassroots method. The media needs to be ignored since our data has shown the media has no affect on the vote and can only hurt you chances with your base by appeasing them.

What we have found is everything we have been told as a Party is false. Whether it was by ignorance, intention or collusion there has to be some real changes for it to begin winning. We have enough people to overcome the Dem advantages in Oregon but we have to stand for common sense and start leading. This will begin when we bring God back into the equation. The secularists are not going to like it but they need to explain why evolution is more believable than God. If they can’t do that they are simply playing political games with the Party and need to stop. These games have gotten us where we are and only going to put us deeper into the liberal cult of chasing atheistic smoke. The good news is with the new interactive world there are targeting methods to go around the media and begin taking the battle directly to the voters. This is the direction the Party needs to look to get back on the winning path. It is harder and will take courage but we have seen actual results in one of the bluest states in the country. It is time to choose. Do we continue the failed secular path or try a new path and accept God as absolute truth and start winning back our country?

Pray for America

Note: The above opinion is not necessarily my own, but FReeper Bray’s. If you wish to discuss this, please ping Bray.

Thanks for thread A.B. Are Boehner and McConnell going to prove more effective than modest speed bumps or are they going to eat their spinach and fight?

Great essay, Bray!

Since November I’ve been so disillusioned about our Country and the preponderance of fools in it. In my opinion, it's gone beyond critical mass and the inmates are running the asylum and found the medicine locker.

We need to try it your way, as the current efforts aren't working! God help us!

They couldn’t eat their spinach if Popeye himself squeezed the can open over their mouths.

When you see Pelosi later this morning, tell me, does she act like a go-along, get-along minority leader, or someone on the offense? Now, contrast her words and actions versus McConnell...

You’ll see who considers themselves the minority.

Pelosi’s balls are huge compared to McConnell.

Right. The Dems place their most rabid partisans in positions of leadership, such as how they stack the judiciaey and foreign relations committees with the Leahys, Teddy Kennedys, Turban Durbins, Kerrys, and name leaders like Dingy Harry and Pelosi, BUT the GOP puts the most milk-toasty go-along-to-get-along eunuchs in those same slots.

To go the way of the Dems would require Michelle Bachman Speaker of the House and Rand Paul Senate leader. That’ll be the day...

Thanks for the post Bray.

I had to reach the depths of my self-inflicted alcoholism to re-establish my relationship with God. Almost 16 months of sobriety later, having made a decision to turn my life and will over to the care of God, I can now clearly see the enormity of the truths you have just written about the state of our spiritual affairs as a party, as a nation. I wasn’t paying attention to it before. Now, I am.

Never being an outwardly religious person, my personal experiences have led me to now living on a spiritual plane and my eyes are open and what I see here in my microcosm of the world, is spiritually dismal. We are losing the war for our collective souls.

As a nation, we are becoming powerless. We are hitting our spiritual bottom. The signs are everywhere. I won’t go into them here. Unfortunately, sometimes it takes calamity to lead to serenity. If there is no admission to the problem as you have once again superbly presented it, then the solution can not be obtained. Will not be obtained.

I plainly see the lights shining in your post. Until we have a collective shift in the spiritual consciousness of everyone in this nation, I fear the continuing darkness of its soul.

The Republican Party has become every bit as Godless as the Dems

More correctly, the message of the Republican party has slid into God-lessness because leaders have taken advice from the secular republican advisers.

Noticed right off the bat that David Gregory keeps substitution the words cuts to “entitlement programs [like Social Security]” for cuts to “government spending”.

Sequestration is supposed to affect “government spending” but the Dems and Media and RINOs are trying to equate cuts to Social Security with cuts to government spending.

How stupid they think we all are.

FNS

Van Hollen is a slickster. He knows how to turn phrases. He has managed to put Jim Jordan on the defensive, making Jordan sound like a whiner.

When given the chance to speak, Jordan makes his case.

Van Hollen counters that Obama’s budget is the greatest thing since sliced butter because Dems don’t want to take from the middle class Social Security/Medicare crowd to further enrich millionaires.

[Pubbies just don’t know how to answer the Dems. The Dems have a slick message and they manage to sell it in a way that a majority believe. The Pubbies try to counter but they do no have an effective counter message that they can make believeable.]

Van Hollen again accuses Jordan of not having his facts straight.

Asks Jordan if he supports the Simpson Bowles recommendation and accuses him of only supporting the cuts.

Jordan fires back that they already got the revenue and they haven’t cut a dime out of the Trillions in spending.

Van Hollen accuses FNS of being a “fact free zone”

Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas.

Is this the beginning of the co-opting of yet another conservative by the Sunday morning talk show mafia?

Frankly, when I see “our” people start hanging around with DNC Dave and Chris (don’t call me Mike) Wallace and the like I get the heebie jeebies.

Wasn’t it decades ago that John McChurian himself was a “conservative” voice on Meet the Press?

Think of Cruz as a block of wood and the Sunday morning Marxist hosts whittlers just taking a piece here and a piece there and, in the end, presto! (albeit ten years later), you’ve got a sell-out RINO all trimmed and pointed and ready to cave in on whatever issue you got out there.

By intent, not accident. They muddle the issues by design. Remember, THEY aim toward 'low information voters' who are not going to do much further investigation or research. If they create enough confusion, THEIR voters just accept that they are working in the best interest of their voters. It worked in 2012.

[Will it continue to work in to 2014? If so, the Pubbies are sunk, if they cannot find a way to get their message out. The GOP/Republicans have a massive communication problem and they seem clueless to know how to address it.]

How much of the current $16 Trillion debt of the United States is due to Social Security???

You are right on. Piglosi has a giant pair and proved it when she jammed down Obamacare in the dead of Christmas night when the MAJORITY OF AMERICA was against it. Never forget her famous saying "You have to pass the bill to find out what is in it". This is the new norm for Congress.

She is 100 times as effective than anyone in the GOP.

What if a politician actually told the truth and said SS needs to be fixed and cuts have to be made? We have to raise the age and lower the benefits as well as stop raiding it.

What if everything we know about politics is wrong and it isn’t the turd rail. When Romney was talking about cutting Medicare and SS he was winning, when he became a jellyfish he lost because nobody had a reason to vote for him.

This is way more true than you can even imagine—I worked there more than 20 years as a dicey-at-best member in bad standing of the lamestream media and the FIRST thing they do there is BUY YOUR SOUL lock, stock and barrel—and then they go for the rest of it.

When I got out (well, was forced out) it was exactly like a drowning man coming up for air in an action flic. I crashed through the water line and began sucking up more oxygen than I could process.

Other than that, the whole thing was a great experience. Nothing really rivals being marginalized, ostracized, exiled to the lower realm...

I would tell you what I would DO about Washington if it was up to me but ....

Well.

Term limits? Sure. Limit all the elected officials to zero days in office and zero power.

Bray is back, let the New Year begin!

Defeating the Godless with God is indeed a genius idea whose time has come.

Combine the New Media here with talk radio, the resto f the bologosphere a few nexpares and tv nets, door to door communication, common sense and a firm belief in God and we have a sure winner:

What if money and commercials mean nothing in a campaign and all of our formulas are completely wrong? What if the print media is ignored by the voters and the candidates don’t need to cater to it? This is what our data is pointing towards.

In addition the Marxist/Islamic jihad against Christianity are thwarted before the process gets a good start. The forces of obamba, jarrett, axelrod, soros will suffer a bitter defeat. Once again bray has pointed out how basic Christian values will rule the day and are seldom defeated in any type of fair debate/race/election.

Actually, I bet Van Hollen forgot to mention that now the Bush tax cuts are OK with the dems after demonizing them for years and years. Funny how that works.

Boehner was forced to take a deal where he only got 98% of what he wanted, insuring tax cuts forever for Americans, and let the dems have a very shallow victory of being able to say that they got a tax increase out of him,for 2% of the rich which they really didn't.

When Boehner made the deal he did he preserved tax cuts for 98% of the country and the dems forced tax increases on 2% of the job producers. Is that a victory? So Boehner got about as much as he could out of a lying pack of thieves.

............................... Also, on a completely different yet similar topic you gotta wonder now if Bush's claims that there were wmds in Iraq that were later sent to Syria was true?

Seems it was.

So who are the big liars now?

How stupid they think we all are.

VERY.

Over 50% of the voters are of the "low information" types. I agree with Bray. IMHO we are no where near the bottom of the souless pit yet. It will take something like the A-Bombing of Japan on this nation to jolt it awake. The CULTURE ROT is horrendous - look all around you.

None of the current $16 Trillion debt is because the SS Trust fund is insolvent — NONE.

The government spending politicians just want to make it more solvent in the future so that they will have more money from it to use for their government spending programs.

Also note that one of the biggest hits to Medicare in recent years came with the pharmaceutical coverage — a payoff to pharmaceutical companies that sent drug prices through the roof.

I think that bray has been able to prove that in smaller areas of the country where God, country and motherhood/family values still have appeal door to door is a sure winner. This method may very well translate into much bigger areas of the country than we know.

Door to door,(if you ignore fraud)may well be the future of politics. It's a retail solution rather than using well know biased wholesalers.

Does that mean he never used the New Media, probably not.

Actually RG I have a manual I am updating that lays our plan out completely.

He is shooting holes in my argument most likely because he is a secularist who doesn’t want to make a choice. It is a very hard choice for many guys since they are comfortable with their atheistic lives. To admit God you have to admit your entire life was wrong.

Pray for America
