Police learned the five suspects ordered 10 pizzas and soda. They told the pizza delivery driver to call when he was ten minutes away.
The driver was suspicious.
He parked a few doors down from the delivery address. The driver told police he saw five people step out of a vehicle one was wearing a mask and holding a gun.
The suspect revealed his gun, but the driver had a legally registered weapon of his own.
When the suspects saw it they fled the scene. The driver followed them and called police.

A few years back my son delivered pizza in the hood. He’s still breathing but bad scene. TYJC
Amish?
Poster child and poster situation for 2nd amendment and ccw.
"In custody are 19-year-old Christopher Gulley, 19-year-old Tyson Moore, 18-year-old Demarcus Michael, a 16-year-old juvenile, and a 17-year-old juvenile."
Although one wouldn't think Amishfolk would savor Italian cuisine, Tyson and Demarcus are good Amish names.
Those poor boys. They couldn’t afford their own car, so they had to drive a stolen one. They couldn’t afford the 10 pizzas or soda. Makes one want to cry, sniff-sniff. At least now in jail they can be fed. /s
Neighbor is sorta in and out of his house after his deployment because of injuries during deployment, and the long drive between the assigned unit and home.
He's home this weekend, and drove up and parked in my driveway after dark.
Of course, I noticed, and before he got to the door, I had it open and saw who it was. No worries.
Then there was the laying aside of the weapons (takes a minute or two), warm greetings, chit-chat, turnover of security for his property to him for the duration (yay! I only have to watch for me this weekend), and all of that.
He actually appreciates that I'm opening the door before he knocks. Situational awareness is important.

Humans can get close enough to your door to knock ?
Security review due ....:o)
Seriously ....good on ya for helping that troop and your neighbors.
Stay safe ....Merry New Year !
One of the local constabulary asked me once how I did that... he admitted that he'd observed carefully and was sure there weren't any cameras....
Meh... I'm a former NCO. We wake up before everyone else and show up clean shaved in the field after harsh conditions. It's an NCO secret.
If you ain't cheating, you ain't trying.
Have a great New Year. Enjoy one more. I certainly didn't expect to be here for 2013. I figure this is gravy.

Happy New Year ! ... Stay safe !

Hope he keeps his job.
I can see the charges now.
Conspiracy to commit armed robbery.
Possession and use of a stolen vehicle.
Fleeing the police.
Possession of a weapon (if stolen, add more charges) inthe commission of a crime.
Hey, let’s throw in illegal use of a phone for the commission of a crime. FCC will really get down on their asses for that. NOT!
Being young yuts, black and stupid. I’ll let the Amish part slide.
If Obama had some sons, they’d look like these thugs.
Yes, they’re part of Obama’s 51%. Probably get a presidential pardon in a year or two if Holder is still around.
Re the delivery driver, smart, smart and alive. Kudos to him for checking out the neighborhood before walking into a trap.
Gun Control Nazis want to take away this man’s....and your rights to self defense. A gun made this event non tragic

Note; phrase was snastched free hand from the minority excuse bucket.
The driver DID NOT have a legally registered weapon. Indiana does not require handgun registration. Driver had a permit to carry.
