No, but they persist in trying. They generally get met outside, either from the front door itself, or from a flanking direction, depending on the situation. ;)

One of the local constabulary asked me once how I did that... he admitted that he'd observed carefully and was sure there weren't any cameras....

Meh... I'm a former NCO. We wake up before everyone else and show up clean shaved in the field after harsh conditions. It's an NCO secret.
