Full title: BBC's 'Top Gear' Host to America: 'It took us 40 years to get rid of Piers Morgan, Pleasse don't send him back'

Look Jeremy, if we have to keep Piers, than at least be a sport and take Michael Moore.... and we'll call it even.

From the UK Daily Mail, a few years back:

“The Top Gear host has had an ongoing feud with journalist-turned-TV personality Piers Morgan.

Clarkson famously punched Morgan in front of journalists at the 2004 Press Awards after the latter published photographs of the car enthusiast kissing his female boss four years previously.

Morgan admits he was hit three times, ‘two to the right temple and one to the forehead’ and was left with a scar above his eyebrow.

In an appearance on Parkinson, Clarkson admitted he was ‘ashamed’ of it, declaring it had been the first fight he’d ever been in.

He said: ‘We don’t get on so I punched him.’ “

Clarkson’s a hoot-and-a-half — don’t get him started on global warming or the Toyota Prius (among a whole host of topics on which he’s riled up the politically-correct weenie-contingent).

Let’s hand New Zealand an ultimatum: Either they let us base American nuclear-powered ships there, or they take Piers Morgan. Either way, we win.

Jeremy Clarkson has huge bollocks and cares not that his observations of fact are savaged by the effete snobs of political correctness of a once great country.

I say we cut our friends in the "British Resistance" a break and deport morgan to the Falkland Islands instead. It's a two-fer, they don't have to deal with him directly and the Argentinians can decide if they really want the islands with him as part of the deal.

OTOH, could the Argies even afford enough gas to power a dingy there?!?

Excuse me if I am wrong, but isn’t Piers Morgan wanted in Britain for wire-tapping?
Perhaps he could find asylum in Cuba or Venezuela.

I think you have to trade in the same weightclass. To unload Moore, we'd have to take back Madonna too.

Jeremy is pretty much of an asshat himself. I like his show even though he’s always gotta throw in a few BS comments that show what he’s really about. And his car reviews are garbage. I can’t be the only one who’s noticed that in their reviews Jaguar, Aston Martin, and Alpha Romeo can do no wrong but Porsche, Ferrari, Audi, and BMW are “droll” and “boring”. Range Rover, the king of unreliability, is “brilliant”? Sure.

I thought it was funny that they came over here to do a show but at the last minute, to maximize inconvenience, the major American car makers wouldn’t provide them cars for review because of their unfair reviews. They reviewed the Corvette GS like it was a Yugo. (With remarks like, “American cars are all such rubbish,” keep wondering why they did that, Jer.)

I love the challenges. The car reviews are rubbish. Just DVR the show and fast forward past that.
