Amid talk of reinstating the assault weapons ban that expired eight years ago, police departments nationwide are thinking of ways to confiscate such weapons.
As WCBS 880’s Marla Diamond reported, among the departments considering taking action is the NYPD. Police Commissioner Ray Kelly said if Congress were to reinstate the ban, police are wondering whether it will be their responsibility to confiscate them.

New York is a foreign place full of foreign people, hardly assimilated to Protestant America. So is the California that so many of them migrated to. So are other states that allow them in.
Which is why it would not be too bright to fight them in your home.
Better to take the fight to them in outside areas that would give you the advantage.

Don't underestimate "Uncle Joe's" capabilities when it comes to spreading lies and getting plainly unconstitutional legislation passed. Don't forget he was one of the "3 stooges of gun control," the other two being Howard Metzenbaum and John Chafee. They were the driving forces behind the gun control bill of 1986, which outlawed the sale of new full auto firearms to the public, something that was never a problem in the first place. They were also among the driving forces behind the Brady bill, and were fully supportive of the national coalition to ban handguns, as well as any other gun control group out there.
If not for the ministry of propaganda, Biden, one of the biggest boors, and one of the greatest idiots in the senate, would have been forced out of office decades ago. He would have been made one of the greatest laughing stocks in history had he been either a republican or conservative. And like Harry Reid, he's a bully, though it's thoroughly covered up by the ministry. Don't underestimate him.

For all the high tech, impenetrable stuff our military is so proud of, and despite the fact that almost all our adversaries have been little third world hell holes that equip their troops with the most unsophisticated arms, we haven’t really fought to a clear, unconditional surrender victory in any conflict since WWII, except, perhaps, Grenada.
The article is more hack media sensationalism nonsense. The only mention of possible confiscation was by Gov. Cuomo for New York. Now it’s the whole country? How did they jump to that conclusion? In addition, not enough police, military to force martial law, logistics would require foreign troops.
Also, in case the statist lib loons haven’t got the memo, any ban or further restrictions on gun rights will be ignored.

They might be able to renew the stupid ban(which didn’t work anyway), but if they try confiscation, that’s a whole new ball game.
i suspect if they try it won’t be very long before there aren’t any officers left on the police force in working condition.
