For the record, if by some miracle, the Congress and President passed a budget that cut ALL deficit spending plus another $500 billion per year and did so for every year henceforth, it would still take almost 50 years to retire our debt.

With Obama and the Dems telling lies this fantastical, and the Republicans refusing to deal in any kind of honest way with spending, we will have to decorate the trees in Washington, D.C. with them all before our fiscal house will be put into order.

Entitlement spending (Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, Welfare and Food Stamps) make up 50% of the Federal Budget. Where are the cuts in entitlements?
