HOUSE REPUBLICANS CIRCULATE PLAN TO OUST BOEHNER FROM SPEAKERSHIP
Big Government ^ | 21 Dec 2012 | by Matthew Boyle

Posted on 12/22/2012 5:53:25 AM PST by SMGFan

Several conservative House Republican members are contemplating a plan to unseat Speaker John Boehner from his position on January 3, Breitbart News has exclusively learned. Staffers have compiled a detailed action plan that, if executed, could make this a reality.

The Republicans, both conservatives and more establishment members alike, are emboldened after the failure of Boehner’s fiscal cliff “Plan B” on Thursday evening. Dissatisfaction with Boehner is growing in the House Republican conference, but until now there hasn’t been a clear path forward.

Those members and staffers requested anonymity from Breitbart News at this time to prevent retaliation from Boehner similar to what happened to those four members who were purged from their powerful committee assignments a few weeks ago. Their expressed concern is that if Boehner knew who they were, his adverse reaction toward them would be much more brutal than losing committee assignments, such as a primary challenge in 2014 by a leadership-sponsored candidate.

i pray that a future without boehner and his cronies is in God’s plan.

as for his replacement, how about someone who can actually *speak* conservatism for *speaker.*

mr. walker, mrs. bachmann, mr. steve king, mr. ryan, even mr. levin would all do nicely.

No MB! When she openly lied and attacked Perry and let Romney stand looking presidential in the primary - she speaks with a fork tongue. She could have used her venom against Mitt but instead chose Rick to clear the path for Romney.

Any time from now would suit me just fine. The sooner the better.

Bonehead is not a leader. He may not even be a good political hack. He is a drunk and weak though.

Newt's gone forever wobbly. Any semblance of strength he showed during the campaign season has completely dissipated. Hopefully, you're enlightening will stop all the "Bring back Newt!" memes.

I'd love to see Michele Bachmann as Speaker, or Col West would be great, too.

Newt would blow it up! I really like how he just cuts out the blah blah and gets to the facts.

The Speaker does not have to be an elected House Member so the could elect West or Newt but I don’t believe that would ever happen.

I'm ready for "Madame Speaker" again...

(fooled you didn't I?)

Cheers!

What do you think of Steven Latourette of Ohio?

I think we should give him a call and tell him personally.

I now believe there are only a rare few who can go to Washington and not be corrupted.

I would still love to see Rick Perry one day get the nomination; if he ever runs, he’ll be my candidate. But I would be very happy with West, Palin, Bachmann, or even Santorum.

My vote is for Rush. He could even do his radio show on the House floor.

Seriously, it would be very interesting.

Not true, if nobody gets to 217 because of Boner defections among Republicans, then some Democrats may vote for Boner just to muck up the works.

Bachmann is one of the most conservative politicians around.

What you say is ridiculous and only helps democrats/socialism/statism.

I don’t believe it would ever happen but it would be a good thing, I would have absolutly no problem and it would give me a little lift.
