Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal has proposed that oral contraceptives should be available to all women without a prescription or doctors examination in an op-ed that has drawn praise from Planned Parenthood and condemnation from some in the pro-life movement.
He called a new report from the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG), calling for oral contraceptives to be sold over-the-counter, a common-sense call for reform.

Jindal for president... Woo, Wooo.

Gee, I never thought of my marriage which separated procreation from sex from the get-go as contributing to "every single social pathology that plagues us." Interesting.

Another possibility is to allowed the manufacturers to set the rules of their sale. They could stipulate that the sale is contiguent upon prescription by a doctor. You know, the freedom of owners to control their property. Works for me.
Weird how many alleged conservatives on FR become statists when it suits them.
Maybe you should only be able to buy guns with a doctor’s permission, too, huh?
I’m more than disappointed in him. I’m disgusted.
