The cool thing about the Tappan Zee Bridge is that on a clear day you can see the Manhattan skyline in the distance.

When they first told us that the “new World Trade Center” would cost $1 Billion, I said, “But what about the Mafia Tax? It will be $3 Billion before it’s done!”

So, about that bridge.....I suggest asking Boston about their tunnel estimates.

I’d like to see how they intend to change the traffic paterns for the rush hours with those two, separate spans.

The key to this area no matter, is for an understated design.

One final smooth layer of asphalt might help the current TZ, instead of the patchwork fillings on the East sides of both lanes.

In the 21st Century is that not possible??

I’d vote for ‘2’ if the taxpayers want to waste their money on something.

They will need somewhere to spend all the federal SANDY money! Civilians won’t count when billions are flowing through politicians hands.

I wonder how much less it would cost without union labor and union work rules?

I would estimate about 50% at least.

Looks good for a 15 dollar plus ride across it! The GW bridge and some others are now 14 dollars to cross. A rig with a few axes can cost up to 75 dollars or more to cross. Where’s all the money going? Education? how much more money do we need for education when the kids are getting dumber and thier propaganda agenda is progressing nicely. oops did I say that?
