Private notice question on Syria Syria Palin?
To: Ernest_at_the_Beach
So? The international community will find it abhorrent? That should generate a sternly worded letter at most.

You think that is bad. That corrupt oligarch McCain apparently claimed if Syria uses Chemical Weapons it will be our fault. Not the Muslim Brotherhoods fault. Not Al Qeada's fault. And not the fault of the German companies who sold him the hardware and components to make the chemical weapons, simply because the Germans had hoped he would kill Jews with the weapons. Although the fact that some of the rebels in Syria are Islamic Terrorists apparently means nothing to McCain.
Adding Islamist group to terror list could hurt Syrian rebel's efforts

An old school warning would have promised that the regime would be ground to powder if they dared.

After Benghazi, any use of chemical weapons against Syrians may now be alleged to have been plotted by the US in their aid to Al Qaeda and Hamas via Turkey.
FWIW, this can work 2 ways.
Now Assad can gas his own people and accuse the US of attacking Syria via the Benghazi connection to known terrorists to avoid accountability.
