the state didn’t just act on a whim. It was premeditated.
Is this murder 1 then?

Between this, Trayvon Martin, and massive vote fraud, where the HELL is Governor Scott and Pam Bondi?

Is there something in the water in Florida?

Was nothing learned from Terri Schiavo in 2005?

I hope the FLA court system revives this case and brings justice to the memory of this precious child....
....and her mother's extraordinary & sacrificial love.

The pre-meditated negligence of these state-sanctioned "kid cops" killed this young lady--outright.

jmho....

Why is it that Florida has so much trouble with disabled children? There is a callus attitude towards the dignity of life that is a troubling characteristic of Florida.

The more and more control the state exerts, the more of these situations we’ll be seeing. Welcome to government control of medical treatment.

Don’t expect anybody in government to be held accountable for this. CPS typicaly have blanket immunity.

On the other hand, if you want to know why this is policy, follow the money. I’m sure it ends up with either a union or state sponsored facility which donates money to political causes that feed them.

I’ve got a great idea...let’s put folks like this in charge of every American’s healthcare.

I hear it’s working beautifully in the UK

Not to diminish this poor family’s plight but this is the kind of “care” the most vulnerable of us can expect when we are on the state’s dime. Unfortunately federal and state interference in the medical system is intended to push us all into a position of needing government to fund our care.

I don’t know what it would be like to have the federal and state government get out of the healthcare business. I don’t how much cheaper things would be or if care would be cheap enough for this mom to pay for it. I don’t know if it would have helped this girl if the US was the country it once was and people had to rely on private charity instead of medicaid. I don’t know if private charities could provide better care for more people if the government didn’t usurp so much money and responsibility. I suspect life would have been better for this family were healthcare left to the market but I do not know for sure. What I do know, without a shadow of a doubt, is that without the government’s intrusion into healthcare this girl would never have been ripped away from her family to die alone.

Tampa. Right near where Terri Schiavo died and home to the most powerful Scientology nest in the country. They are very pro-death and control all of the state offices in that area, either because the office holders are actual Scientologists or because the Scientologists have paid their way into office.

Nobody in the state seems to have the courage to take them on. Jeb Bush tried, but even he had to back down when they got the entire judiciary and legislature to go against him.

I don’t know if there’s any personal connection in this case, but what does exist is the influence of Scientology in shaping a harsh, unforgiving bureaucracy that is entirely on the side of the state and death and believes that it is enforcing some ideal when it “lets” (forces) people to die.

It was an order the state simply ignored.

The "State" didn't do anything; an overpaid, megalomaniacal "social worker" ignored the judges' order and as such, should be held criminally responsible for this little angel's death.

Florida health care administrators refused to pay for it, although in-home care can be demonstrably cheaper than care in an institution. Child welfare workers ignored the order completely

... what was the penalty for defying the court?

If nothing, does this mean we can all defy Obamacare without penalty?

A search for more info on this story the other day led me to a story in the Tampa Time with this teaser:

For 'micropreemie,' parents had difficult choice: Fight or let go?

Part I came out yesterday: Never Let Go

. . .

Interestingly, here's an article she wrote: From ordinary girl to international icon

"The best placement for the child right now is a … nursing home where she can get that 24-hour supervision and care that she needs," said Angeline Attila, an assistant attorney general.

*****************************************

I guess she lived up to her name.

This is a tragic story.
