Apparently Plan A is going to three days a week. I get the PD on Sundays and holidays, mostly for the local sports coverage and the letters page, to see what the village idiots are thinking about varous issues. There is no interest anywhere in the PD remaining a seven day a week paper. A once influential newspaper, it has degenerated to pap and three day old wire service articles. The PD used to have a daily competitor. When the Cleveland Press folded, the terminal decline of the PD began.

Those second tier papers could have stuck around if they had become smaller, tabloid and lively like a NY POST or bent to a new niche like the WASH TIMES
