My wife gave us twin boys 39 years ago, but she didn’t know she was carrying them until her final checkup.

She always said that there were too many elbows and legs kicking for it to be just one baby.

It continues to this day.

Well that explains why my identical twin brother and I have been fighting for over 66 years.

My Granddaughter had twins who had TTTS.

She was referred to a doctor in Billings, MT, who sent her to Baylor where the cord flow to the twins was separated.

Had that not happened, they would not have made it, and she might not have, either. The twins were born premature, but have done well.

(Folks here prayed for them, and I'm happy to report they are happy and healthy little honiacs!)

It is interesting to note that one (the smallest at birth) is the more adventurous of the two, the other sits back and watches to see what happens before she joins in. They definitely have different personalities, and have shown that almost from the start.

So this confirms the famous Bible event of the birth of Jacob and Essu, they both fought even before birth.

I am the mother of twins girls who are now 32. I am less than five feet tall and they were in the breech position like these twins appear to be. I always said that it seemed as if they were kicking each other because I always felt their kicks right about where their feet were. They did not have much room in there! They finally ran out of room and were born 6 weeks early at 3 lbs 13 oz and 3 lbs 9 oz. They were both 16 and one-half inches long and perfectly healthy. A miracle!

They were born by C-Section and the “oldest” (by one minute) recently got married and is expecting her first child and our first grandchild. (Another miracle because my daughter was afraid that she might have to have IVF because of her age and her menstrual history.) They found out this week that they are having a boy! Her husband is "over the moon" because he already has an 8 year old daughter from a previous marriage when he was barely out of his teens. He is former Marine who is a big hunter and fisherman. He really wanted a son to follow in his footsteps!

I have identical twins who are 28. I also have two singletons.

I would disagree that they are “fighting”. Part of it is just that they are moving and working their muscles. Part is the reaction to the stimuli of the other moving. All of my kids were active in the womb at various times. Some more than others. With the twins, when one “woke” up and was active, it didn’t take very long for the other to do the same. Looking at the video reminded me of feeling that all those years ago.

On the other hand, one of their singleton siblings would often get himself into one position or another that would be painful for me. I would then physically try to move him by pushing from the outside. It would usually work, but he would always respond by more movement.

Maybe it is me, but I think it is on the deceptive side to say that they were fighting. Or maybe I just read it wrong.

As a fraternal twin, I can definitely say that twins fight.

Of course I have the advantage in that I am better looking, and was the good twin and while my brother was the evil twin! ;)

(Now maybe THAT will get him to stop lurking and start posting here!)

Funny, it doesn't have much to do with being twins.

MY sister and I were absolute mortal enemies when we were growing up. She was 5 years younger and knew exactly how to work over dad so I was at a serious disadvantage.

I have 2 boys (8 and 9) now and it seems to me that their only real objective each day when they wake up is "must agitate my brother". The bickering is absolute and non-stop.

I'm really proud of them though because on the occasion when another kid at school or the playground opted to pick a fight with one of them, they find out quickly that brothers come in pairs, through thick and thin.
