LONDON (WTVR) Striking new MRI images show that for twins, sibling rivalry starts earlyeven before birth. Researchers in London were trying to find out more about a rare blood disease that can complicate the pregnancies for women carrying twins, when they captured video of what appears to be two fetuses pushing each other as they try to make more room.
Researchers at Londons Center for Fetal Care were studying a potentially deadly condition called twin-to-twin transfusion syndrome. It only occurs in identical twins, when the blood supply from one flows into the other. It can cause one twin to become much larger, leaving the smaller with health deficiencies.
The researchers say the study has provided unexpected insight into sibling relationships.
AMAZING Video at the link!

My wife gave us twin boys 39 years ago, but she didn’t know she was carrying them until her final checkup.
She always said that there were too many elbows and legs kicking for it to be just one baby.
It continues to this day.
Excellent film. How could anyone watch a film like this an ever have an abortion? Life is precious.
LOL. I reckon they were kicking each other.
And it continues to present day.... 39 years later!
:)
I’m fascinated by this video.
God bless the little babies.
You said it. I can’t begin to understand abortion at all.
Life is God’s blessed gift.
God bless and keep you, tired&retired.
The Daily News film clip is longer and a bit better: http://www.nydailynews.com/life-style/health/video-shows-twins-fighting-womb-article-1.1210808
Well that explains why my identical twin brother and I have been fighting for over 66 years.
LOL. God bless and keep you both!

Well, I have twin brothers, now in their mid 70s.
I do not recall their ever fighting, but they are seven years older then me.
Thanks for that link. It does have better video, especially if you go to “full screen.”

Twins.
She was referred to a doctor in Billings, MT, who sent her to Baylor where the cord flow to the twins was separated.
Had that not happened, they would not have made it, and she might not have, either. The twins were born premature, but have done well.
(Folks here prayed for them, and I'm happy to report they are happy and healthy little honiacs!)
It is interesting to note that one (the smallest at birth) is the more adventurous of the two, the other sits back and watches to see what happens before she joins in. They definitely have different personalities, and have shown that almost from the start.
So this confirms the famous Bible event of the birth of Jacob and Essu, they both fought even before birth.
MA!! He’s TOUCHING me!!!
Regards,
Why, as an identical twin, I can remember those nights with my womb mate and I duking it out for hours!
They must have taken the video down, there’s no link at the site.
How can two blobs of protoplasm fight?
They were born by C-Section and the “oldest” (by one minute) recently got married and is expecting her first child and our first grandchild. (Another miracle because my daughter was afraid that she might have to have IVF because of her age and her menstrual history.) They found out this week that they are having a boy! Her husband is "over the moon" because he already has an 8 year old daughter from a previous marriage when he was barely out of his teens. He is former Marine who is a big hunter and fisherman. He really wanted a son to follow in his footsteps!
