Next month's benefit concert at Madison Square Garden for victims of Sandy received some added star power.

Jon Bon Jovi, Eddie Vedder and The Foo Fighters' Dave Grohl are now slated to perform at the Dec. 12 show.

They're joining a lineup that already includes Bruce Springsteen, Billy Joel, Paul McCartney and Kanye West.

Proceeds of the so-called "12-12-12" concert will go to the Robin Hood Relief Fund and benefit those affected in New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut.

The ROBIN HOOD fund, eh? Shove it.

Let me get this straight: instead of giving half of their income to the benefit of these victims of Sandy, these performers would rather do their job and allow the wealth created by their work be used to help them.

Sounds pretty conservative to me. So why do so many of them vote for Obama?

It is pretty strange to say the least. They have huge staffs which they pay and bring revenue into the government, but yet they feel that everyone needs to give more in taxes....very strange. It seems to me that they should at least be fiscal conservatives but they don’t even seem to be that.

the Robin Hood Fund = sounds like an obama campaign rally to fire up the OWS crowd

WTH did this hurricane have to do about "social justice"?
these aging buffoons will do their jobs, collect cheers and adulation from an adoring crowd young enough to be their grandchildren, donate some of the money, stick the city with the costs of security, sanitation and road patrols, write it all off their taxes, and feel self righteous about themselves as morally superior beings

liberals- that is hollywood

THAT “Robin Hood”?

Anyhow, what will they do for a sequel. There is no 13th month unless they want to look to something like the Jewish calendar when it has leap-monthed (two Adar’s).

Since the Democrat governors and RINO Christie have already jacked up their bill to the federal government for damages to 82 BILLION bucks, and that should be enough to make many a fat union and crooked contractor happy.

The entertainers will use their appearance at this fund raiser as a tax write-off, something we tax drones can’t do.

Psst, here is a little secret the elite celebutards don’t want you to know, their little charities are scams, they all get together and come up with a cause and raise lots of money, yet hardly any of the funds go towards those they were intended to help!

Instead it acts as a big slush fund that allows the elites to take money from gullible Americans who willingly give them their hard earned cash for a worthy cause. Then, the celebutards trade the money among themselves or pass the money on to other supposed charities, or hey why not make a charity your own personal piggy bank where one can grow the funds with interest and draw from it as one sees fit.

Do you honestly think Bette Midler uses the millions she acquires to plant trees in New York. Red Cross gave out cookies and coffee for the victims of Sandy, yet the CEO of that charity makes 350,000 a year. Hmm, I sure wish we had investigative reporters who were more interested in investigating these supposed charities rather than wanting to attend the lavish parties the celebutards throw for their charities.

If these promoters and entertainers really wanted to help raise money for those in need, they would hold the benifit concert in a place that wasn’t affected by the hurricane like Los Angeles or Chicago. Instead, they hold it where the most people suffered and are already using what money they have to cleanup the mess and get back on their feet. These suckerheads just want to be seen with the victims to show the rest of the World how wonderful they are.

They create massive non-profits with the money to pay bureaucrats. Little of the money actually gets to the “poor”. That’s what happened to the We Are The World money. It just disappeared.

Where where they when the Navy Base in Millington, TN and the surrounding town was under water..or I forgot, the Nashville country stars did a benefit for Nashville, while poor Millington got a lone application FEMA bus. Hundreds lost their homes. And the Navy and Serv Pro cleaned up the mess at the base. Surrounding counties had flooded farm land for months afterwards. Very little help from the Feds.

This also got into Military housing and many of the work stations. There where pile after pile of Military records to be destroyed because they were wet, thank goodness BUPERS which is what the base is had them backed up on computers, if they were not destroyed too, or stored info off site.

This is just the SOUTH side of the Navy Base, Millington its self looked just as bad, hundreds of mobile homes were orange Xed as unlivable, stink was so bad people with breathing conditions had to be relocated. Millington has at least 4 mobile home parks, 3 were hit. This does not include the brick and mortar businesses or homes either.

Bruce Springsteen, oh goody-goody, joy-joy.

Everyone will get the chance to see 'the Boss' stand up there and play a 1st position E-Chord all night long --- no matter which song is playing. [Rumor has it that he knows how to play a 1st position A Chord too, but no one in public has ever seen it happen].

(and people mocked Elvis' guitar playing, ha!)

Kanye West, OMG how can I get there?! /s

The only reason I would walk across the street to see Kanye West would be to pi$$ on him.
