Mary Richardson Kennedys family hired a high-powered Washington investigation firm and an ex- Manhattan homicide prosecutor to look into her death, The Post has learned.
The firm focused its probe on Robert Kennedy Jr., Marys estranged husband, and on many unanswered questions, according to sources who say they were questioned in the months following her May 16 suicide.
It was definitely my impression that they were pursuing a wrongful-death action, said a confidant of Marys interviewed by family investigators. They had the same concerns I had about the crime scene.

hmm
It always seems that the women ‘accidentally’ die or ‘commit suicide’ when a divorce is looming- especially when the man has a lot to lose.
Just another skirmish in the Kennedy War on Women.

Thanks jimbo123. Self-ping. And Jesse Jackson Jr’s marital fidelity, possible drug use, etc? Not newsworthy. Particularly not now.

Michael Skakel should have had it all - wealth, security, friends in high places, but something went terribly wrong. Being a nephew to the Kennedy clan failed to protect him from himself and problems for Michael started early. In an autobiography proposal that he was trying to sell to a publisher, Skakel described his rage, his learning disability, alcoholism and sibling jealousy. Twenty-seven years later, a jury decided that his personal demons led him to bludgeon 15-year-old Martha Moxley to death with a golf club.
Perhaps not "always" but past history shows that women involved with a Kennedy man are certainly wise to sleep with one eye open.
