I am so blessed... most of my family is conservative and the ones who aren’t won’t be dining with us. In our family we have ONE married couple who are liberal, but more middle of the roaders. So politics around our table are rather boring with everyone in agreement.

Fortunately, no kind for Thanksgiving this year. I used to just keep quiet in mixed company but no longer. We’re in the middle of a war and I’m not staying quiet any longer. I’d love to hear some of the weak retorts in this article because they are a hanging fastball when you are expecting a hanging fastball.
If anyone brings up politics at our table it is likely our union dependent son-in-law. He would be the only lib left around here since the lesbians moved to DC so they could be “married”.

I point out the destructive effect of low interest rates used to paper over the bad bank debt. I point out the charade of their economy (in Northern Virginia) based mostly on government waste. Since “crazy” Uncle Gary probably is hosting the Thanksgiving meal, and paying for the food everyone is enjoying, he hopefully this year decided to forego turkey, since PETA objects. This years meal will be built around green and organic concepts, with material collected from a communal compost heap. For desert, their will be algae.
And hopefully he charged his relatives, who work for non-profits, the Federal Government, the SEIU, or simply don’t work. It is not a “charge” per se, but a fee that is levied to make to pay for the carbon offsets since the liberal visitors each drove to Gary’s house and must pay a fee to repay for the damage they caused the earth and future generations.
Gary, being crazy like a fox, has the above arrangements made, but this year decided not to actually attend the event. He put his liberal relatives in charge since they are so smart. Gary is in the Carribean, enjoying the thought of how he has helped him more intelligent relatives enjoy their ideas.

I guess I’m lucky. Just about my entire family is made up of conservatives. We have nothing to do with the couple of commie libs in the family. We do not tolerate them and they are not welcome around us.
