Egypt announced a cease-fire agreement between Israel and Hamas effective Wednesday evening local time, the Associated Press reported.

In details of the agreement obtained by the news agency, Israel will cease all military activity against the Hamas-ruled Gaza Strip at 9 p.m. local time (11 a.m. PST) and Palestinian militants will cease rocket attacks into Israel. After 24 hours of quiet, Gaza's border crossings with Israel will be opened further to allow freer movement of goods and people.

The announcement by Egyptian Foreign Minister Mohamed Amr and U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton followed talks in Cairo between Clinton and Egyptian President Mohamed Morsi.

It looks like Slick Willie's wife is going to be able to check the Ignoble "Peace" Prize off of her bucket list. Everybody gets a trophy! (As long as you are a commie lib.) She's set for her run in 2016 now! The Republicans need to save their money and not bother running anybody.

This just in via FNC. 15 minutes after the "cease fire", rockets are being fired into Israel. I guess the terrorists didn't get the memo. LOL!

An even funnier thing about this is Israel never was consulted about any cease fire.

Egypt announces cease-fire agreement between Israel and Hamas

Riiiiiiggggghhhhhtttttt!!! I'm certainly buying THIS line of BS.

What Egypt is ACTUALLY announcing is that Israel will honor a cease fire, but Hamas will keep on shooting.

Peace my butt bisquits!

I hate we have that kind of power over Israel

When you are a welfare country like Israel taking our money for years and years, we will have power over you. Very easy to see.

12 hours?

The rockets continue as we speak. To make matters even more ludicrous, the Israeli Defense Minister said, "This is to be expected."

Damn the torpedos! Full speed ahead!

I’ve been following Ben Hartman, of the Jerusalem Post, on Twitter. He’s counted 12 rockets since the cease-fire!

Two words, my Israeli brothers:

No Quarter.

Clausewitz was right. The only way to stop an ideological enemy is to take the war to him and crush him so thoroughly he will be incapable of coming against you for the foreseeable future.

That was my first thought.

What size bribe did we pay Morsi and Hamas? And how many days before it falls apart?

Yes. Oliver North said that the U.S. will threaten to slow the delivery of vital parts for key aspects of the Israeli armed forces. My question: If Israel can make a nuclear missile why can’t they manufacture all necessary parts for the maintenance of a fighter jet, for example? Or is it not a matter of technological prowess and simply the deal they signed with the U.S. in order to get those fighter jets.

I say we don’t make it to the opening of the stock market on Monday morning before Hamas is firing more rockets.
