I’m looking for solutions to an identified problem.
Sticking your head in the sand and pulling the “All Is Lost” handle isn’t exactly the type of progress that will advance this forum’s cause.
I’m WIDE open to suggstions. I just don’t consider “Surrender” or “Run Away” to be viable options.
By your tagline, I don’t believe you do either.

I work for two branches of the government represetned by my screen name....
And I take significant risk in continuing to post here.
But, I believe in what I’m talking about.

Yes, they are, but when you look at the total take for welfare programs you find the average is about $27,000 and as high as $67,000. To you and me maybe that isn’t squat, but to them that is public housing or a rent subsidized apartment, food, phones, etc, and allows then expensive sneakers, clothing, and an HDTV. It allows them to live while making very little money otherwise.
I know several “disabled” people that live on that and refuse, even though they are able bodied, to go to work and make more. One is 32 and the other 55 years old. Both could easily work but “disability” pays them about $700/month plus reduced utilities, food stamps of $270/month, free cable and Internet, reduced cell phone costs, free medical care, etc. To them working the disability/welfare system is their job.
How did they get disability/welfare?
The 32 year old had a work related shoulder injury. During surgery she claimed mental depression due to her childhood, which wasn’t bad she is just a total crybaby. Her State appointed therapist claimed she needed continued therapy and 100% disability was granted so she could get it. See the train of thought there: The therapist wrote her note for 100% so she could continue to go to the therapist. Fox, hen house.
The 55 year old actually was kidnapped and tortured and raped for 3 days and she escaped through a plate glass window while the guy was out looking for a place to bury her body. For that, she claims mental instability, a 100% disability. Same deal: Therapist writes the note for continued therapy.
mc, a word of advice: if you are a newbie, go slow and earn your chops. You know the drill, coming into a new place and demanding people do it or think it your way, never works.

I’m sure he’s the real deal and I’m sure his intentions are very good. He’s just coming across as aggressive, argumentative, and obnoxious. I work with military people like that every day. They don’t get a lot accomplished, because no one wants to work with them. But they don’t really notice how ineffective they are because they’re too busy pointing fingers at everyone else.

I’m demanding nothing. I’ve been here since 2001 and have earned the right to make suggestions.
I’ve watched too many people tryingto initiate ideas get run off a website that I’ve come to rely on to know that there are those like minded.

I’m proud of the tab I’ve earned and far from being a noob.
Didn’t realize a resume was a requirement to give my opinion but I can assure you, I’ve never played video games and I am who I say I am.
