Under investigation for allegedly misusing campaign funds to decorate his home as well as to buy a $40,000 Rolex watch for a female friend ... like father, like son.

He’ll just run things from prison and get elected again and again and again! If anything, prison enhances his resume.

I’ll believe it when it happens.
He’s more likely to be the next Senator from Illinois than he is to spend time in jail.

“who is battling legal troubles and mental illness”
I guess the reason he should resign is that he is actually battling mental illness whereas his colleagues in D.C. have totally given in to it.
To: oh8eleven
In a few years he will rise rapidly to the top of the democrat party.

IF he’s willing to plea to a littel jail time it can only be because he knows they have enough to put him away forever if he puts up a fight.
To: elhombrelibre
A cynical person would wonder why he is negotiating now, before the pardons are granted.
Call me cynical. :)

Mental illness is b.s. If he did the crime, he should do the time.

Why not make him pay back the money X 10 and put it towards the deficit. I am so sick of people not worrying about the deficit. There are SO MANY ways to pay down the debt but nobody wants to touch it. We should ask China for debt forgiveness...lol.

Yeah, the misappropriation of funds thing was probably just a bookkeeping error, another big “mess”, like Operation PUSH’s perennial accounting problems.
And his bipolar/mental illness problems are just because he carries Sr.’s genes. Having said that I am sure he’ll serve LOTS of jail time.....hahahhahaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa.

They were called the Civil and Voting Rights Acts. Throw in LBJ's great society and it was a real trifecta for life's losers.

Jesse, SR. became fabulously wealthy extorting money from corporations by threatening to demand a boycott from the slaves on his plantations. That is how the family obtained their beer distributorship in Chicago among other profitable operations. Now that is a fine combination—a reverend owns a beer distributorship.
JR. has somewhat cleaned up the methodology by just stealing campaign funds to finance his lavish lifestyle. Also, we are not aware of any bastard children sired by JR. You people need to cut JR. a little slack. He is trying to improve the family image.

This is how our voters have degenerated to where no one can explain. Every voter in Jesse Jackson’s district knew that he was under investigation and will likely be convicted. But these people still voted for him in a massive way. Now that he will face prison time and be kicked out of his office or be forced to resign. What were these voters thinking of? I guess it’s true, that you can’t fix “STUPID”.

Odd. DemocRATS almost always avoid jail, and advance in their career. No matter, the 60 plus percent that reelected JJ's spawn tells you that this was the 0bamaphone election.
We have reached the tipping point. More takers than Makers. More marxists than Patriots.
Buckle up, it's going to be a rough ride...
