Regarding the recent Florida election
Official Florida Elections website ^ | 11/09/2012 | sarasmom

Posted on 11/09/2012 6:40:41 PM PST by sarasmom

Link to official St Lucie County FL 2012 results http://www.slcelections.com/Pdf%20Docs/2012%20General/GEMS%20SOVC%20REPORT.pdf

SOVC For Jurisdiction Wide, All Counters, All Races UNOFFICIAL RESULTS WITHOUT PROVISIONALS

Only one precinct had less than 113% turnout. 154 registered voters 107 votes 69.48%

The Unofficial vote count? 175,554 registered voters 247,713 vote cards cast (141.10% )

Again please note these numbers supposedly do NOT include Provisional ballots.

Oh yeah people, Allen West is entirely justified in asking for a lockdown on the ballot boxes and machines, and he might even need a few good men and women to ride on down there and help him make them count the actual votes!

OK, wise ass, so you have proof (like sarasmom provided) that there was sufficient fraud to effect other races (including I’m sure that for president). Why don’t you provide it, instead of auditioning as a comedian?

I’m pinging Mesta to your comment.

See post # 51 for a possible explanation.

This is true, re: ST. Lucie from an NBC affiliate interview with the St. Lucie Election head.

you all are going to laugh at this, but this IS the quote for the elections head for the county (real msm story, NBC affiliate) Ballots also “left” in a library.

Gertrude Walker, Supervisor of Elections for St. Lucie County, said she is not sure why the Election Summary Report lists “Cards Cast” as 141%. “They may have had something like that in Palm Beach County, but we’ve never seen that here,” she said.

I think the 140% number- and that whole list is a red herring. My guess is it accounts for the number of ballot cards fed into the machine which is different in each County. My ballot was 4 pages long (2 cards) Dade was 12 pages. Looks like St. Lucie was also 4 pages- 2 cards per voter.

In our 67 counties, all but 2 of the Supervisors of Election are elected officials. Dade and Volusia have appointed supervisors who answer to the Mayor or County Commission. But they all have to follow the extensive laws for reporting and list maintenance, ballot procedures etc.

And for all the jokes about Flori-duh- every county has a paper trail for every vote, and 64 of the Counties managed to conduct elections without serious difficulty. Despite the Democrats deliberately flooding the polls with idiots who took forever to vote, and complained non-stop.

I wish the Peoples Republic of Dade-Broward-Palm Beach would secede and become the 51st state. The rest of us are sick of their incompetence.

Sounds like the explanation, but when asked by an nbc affiliate about the outrageous returns... she had no idea of WHY? Just the kind of election chiefs we all need, the on-the-ball type.

I looked at reports from 4 other FL counties and none of them had a report like St. Lucie’s first page with the 100%+ “turnout” listed.

Each County designs their own- hers is bizarre.

Congressman West says she is incompetent and these comments prove it.
SHE hires the IT people for her County.
SHE approves the forms they design.
SHE is the one responsible for the public information on her website.
SHE is the elected official responsible for accurately counting the votes and reporting results to the state.

Her comments sound like she is clueless about her own shop.

Wonder how many “friends” worked on the site? Never know?

I don’t feel so dumb now that the ELECTIONS CHIEF doesn’t know who they got those numbers. I’m not very comforted by that fact.

From her last campaign link:
http://elections.tcpalm.com/candidates/gertrude-walker

“St. Lucie County Supervisor of Elections 1980 to present.
I have been employed by St. Lucie County all my working life. I served as Deputy Supervisor of Elections under my two predecessors for 12 years.”

Now wouldn't you think she would be able to do a better job with all that experience? But they've been re-electing for 23 years! Pitiful.

Criminy! Don't feel dumb- I've been involved in Florida elections since Kennedy-Nixon and I don't have a clue what that form means!

Only thing that comes to mind is maybe it is a way to double check the actual number of cards tabulated, in case of a recount, to be sure they are all there. But no one else does it that I can find. Who knows?

striking the amount of experience she has. must be inversely proportional to the quality of the election experience. i’ll bet she can’t get laid off.

Out of 175,554 registered voters, 247,713 vote cards were cast in St. Lucie County, Florida on Tuesday.
Out of the 247,713 cards cast, somehow election machines counted 123,591 total votes.

http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-chat/2957838/posts

Question: If each voter turned in 2 cards, and 2 cards equals 1 vote, then where are 531 votes? 123,591 times 2 is 247,182, but 247,713 cards were cast. If a voter chooses the blank fill in space, would not that vote be counted and added to the tally? So what happened to 531 votes?
