one freeper put an article on here from the sentinal which said we are a blue state which is rubbish.

I wish people would understand that we are a republican state and this election was such a fraud but I guess that some would rather us move on, reach out and think we can hispanics and blacks to our side, oh and be nice because the media might like us if we do\\\[bangs head on table]

“Question: If each voter turned in 2 cards, and 2 cards equals 1 vote, then where are 531 votes? 123,591 times 2 is 247,182, but 247,713 cards were cast. If a voter chooses the blank fill in space, would not that vote be counted and added to the tally? So what happened to 531 votes?”

Every election, people choose not to vote (or waste their vote with a Mickey Mouse write in)on some ballot questions. The so-called “down-ticket” races in a Presidential year almost always have fewer votes than are cast for President, or other high profile races. Because a ballot can include LOTS of local questions (city and/or county races, local referenda, special districts, state legislature) in addition to federal and statewide offices, people tend not to cast a vote on issues or candidates unfamiliar to them.

In Florida, our local counts are public, and I have been a party or candidate observer many times. The way people take the time to vote, and then deliberately spoil their ballot with drawings, or essays, or choosing cartoon characters, always astounds me. But it isn’t evidence of fraud.

I follow your reasoning, I just find it odd that when a blank space is offered, and filling it in would cast no vote to either party, the ability to resist filling it in is so strong. I also wondered if said filled in vote for a blank space was added to the total vote tally.

I’m sorry i wasn’t clear- the “write in” space can only be counted for officially filed write in candidates. And voters must spell the name correctly to boot. Remember when Lisa Murkowski lost the Alaskan primary and ran as a write in? She spent a lot of $$ making sure people could spell her name- and sure enough she won.
Voters who write in Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck- or anyone else not officially a write in doesn’t count at all. It becomes an “undervote”. On the other hand, if they vote for more than one candidate in each race, it is an “overvote” and doesn’t count, either.
I don’t know if these voters are cynical, or stupid, or just uninformed, but I know it has happened in every election I have been a part of for more than 20 years.

That said, I do think something funny is going on in St.Lucie County. The media has noticed, and is asking questions. I hope West keeps up the pressure. It looks like they missed the state deadline this afternoon to finish everything but military ballots.
They are closed until Tuesday- the ballots are sealed- and if they can’t finish their provisional count Tuesday, he says he is going back to court, and I expect the state election officials will be present, if they aren’t already. Lots of eyes on this lady- and that is always a good thing.

Well, we elected the most blue President in my memory for a second time, and a very blue US Senator to boot. The parts of our state that are VERY blue are really big- millions of voters- and our conservatives are spread across the vast expanses of the state, but we need a LOT more good Midwesterners to balance out the northeast liberals.

And the truth is they have always outnumbered us in party registration. We were just better organized, and more motivated, so we won lots of races. Now they are beating us at our own game- so if we don't get with the program, we will lose the legislature, the Governor and the Cabinet in 2 years, and really be in a world of %#%#!

This is the stuff that makes us look bad.

Makes “us” look bad to WHOM? Everyone hates Republicans in general, and elitist leadership Rs hate conservatives. Who gives a flying (fill in the blank) what anyone thinks of “us”.

All I care about is the rule of law based on the Constitution and facts. Everything else can go to hell, and is doing so, as we speak.

we need conservatives from very red states like GA or conservativs who are fed up of their blue states and move here to ensure we get our state back.

I;m sick and tired of these liberals who move here and then want to change our state to make it look like the hell they left.

We live in a great solid county
http://enrnow.votesjc.com/FL/St_Johns/42920/111353/en/md.html?cid=0103

anyone who reads this and to want to move to a safe county, a republican county and a county with the best schools on the state, not in debt like other counties then please move here.

I don;t even want to think about those losses but I do know that the elft is going after our Gov, the unions and liberals hate him wiht a passion so look out for more of this rigging of the elections.

We better get our message out and no more pansy footing around.

I;m sick as it is that the GOP never did a damn thing about this corruption and not helping West

Correction:

All I care about is the rule of law based on the Constitution and facts. Everything else will take care of itself. Meanwhile, the rule of law, the Constitution, and facts are going to hell as we speak.

The R leadership (quote unquote) are the enemies of all three just as much as the Dems. Accessories, before, during and after the fact.

Here’s a few things no R in leadership position at all will evern mention (other than a tiny few, such as Bachmann and West); evidence of their horrible perfidy:

1. The huge amount of black on white crime, and how it is increasing.

2. Huge increase of violent crime recently - cities and police departments are hiding this, but even still the numbers are up beteween 11% and 17% in the last year or two. (percentages for different kinds of crime, can’t remember exactly).

3. The terrible effects of 40% unwed mother births, and around 80% to black mothers - how such children almost never turn out to be rational responsible adults.

4. How homo nazi-agenda is ruining Constitutional freedoms of speech, religion and assoication.

5. The terrible results of affirmative action - not the least of which is women in positions they cannot do properly, thus wrecking the lives of men who were passed over (or whites, Asians, depending on which kind of affirmative action it was) in favor of LESS QUALIFIED IDIOTS.

6. The rotten leftist cesspools of almost all (a few holdouts!) public schools and how vast numbers of young people are wrecks due to the hellish indoctrination they receive.

7. And none of them touch the fact that 0bastard is a thug/illegal usurper using a fake name and we are therefore in a coup, a revolution, and don’t actually have a president. We have a dictator. A usurper.

EXACTLY

I’m even seeing soem freepers try to give us the KOS talking points on here, giving excuses about over 100% turnout even when one woman in charge of the Dem county can;t explain it herself or the other many issues

There should be a recount and an investigation in WI,PA,FL,OH, VA\\

Military votes do not go 50% for obama and that only happened in one state VA

Hell even the GOP let it go wen republican observers were thrown out

I;m fed up of the cowards saing move on, we look silly, for the good of the country
We, well they the elitist have benesaying that since Nixonlost

The situation we’re in is extremely dangerous and so many Rs and supposed conservatives including here on FR act as though everything is basically normal, just we’re stuck with a rotten president for a few more years but we can always try to elect a better one next time.

As though they don’t know any history, or think “it can’t happen here”.

Well, it’s happening here right now; we just haven’t gotten to the doors getting kicked in and people dragged off to the killing fields in the middle of the night - YET.
