It is also true Petraeus is a driven person, and has jealous peers— who really don’t like CIA, and as regards Benghazi.. well who knows what they knew about this “relationship”.

Most countries have elections (China does not), but Venezuela, the old USSR, Cuba, all have elections. We will too, but not real ones.

i dont think this has been mentioned yet. maybe, pretaeus knew that the lsm wouldnt cover this unless it had a sexual component, so he may that public so the lsm wouldnt bury benghazi.
I don’t get this guy. He purposely gets fired in a big way (how else do you interpret trashing your boss and his entire organization in a public forum?) because being a 4-star under Zero is so miserable. Then he becomes Director of the CIA (Which is weirder? That he’d go back to working for Zero in his backyard or that Zero would hire him back?). Now here he is “resigning to spend more time with his family” AGAIN (minus his wife of 40 years).

ok, i dont want to sound like a jerk, but i have to say this. my post where i said petraus included the affair so that the lsm would cover it, i posted that several minutes ago. about 10:15 est. just now on greta, congressan trey, cant remember last name just said the lsm would coverit bcause it involves sex. so just maybe, the truth will come out.
one more thing, since in my own mind i just nailed that (oh forgive me, i need something after that election), my prediction beore this election was obama woud be reelected but would end up impeached or resign because you cant keep lying and keep competant people around you.

well they had no scandal for W so the dems invented something with blowback sort of like a scandal called Iraq. They turned a successful although controversial invasion and occupation into a debacle. considering it was a muslim nation it actually went reasonably well. nothing goes as planned in war.
In any event W’s 2nd term fiasco - real or fictional - was Iraq.
I think he waited until after the election to spill the beans so it wouldn’t hurt Obama’s re-election chances.

DADT might apply to hetero affairs. But as a former military officer, I can tell you that hetero affairs weren’t prosecuted unless there was gross misconduct or a supervisor/subordinate relationship.
DADT doesn’t allow commanders to have relationships with their subordinates.
