OK. Why in the world would you think that Democrat voters are suckers? If they voted for a fire hydrant, then they would be suckers. They vote their self-interests and they vote from fear. Where are the great private sector jobs they can aspire to? Obama gives government jobs to his supporters. The college kids see that there are no private sector jobs, so they vote for all those security nets the Democrats offer. The federal government prints money for itself, so the Democrats don’t worry about taxes anymore. And the federal government bails out the Democrat states so they don’t have problems. It’s only a problem if inflation hits, and from what I’ve seen, we already have horrible inflation but the press ignores it. Even if food prices go higher, the Democrats will just give out more food stamps.
The sucker who falls for a Nigerian e-mail scam is also pursuing his own self-interest: trying to get the 30% of the $53 million or whatever. He’s a sucker because there’s not $53 million and his foolish pursuit of self-interest will end up costing him money. The Democrat voter is a sucker because just like there’s not $53 million, there’s not enough money in the world to pay for the promises (s)he was voting for, and there won’t be even if the virtual printing presses run overtime creating hyperinflation.
