The New York Times issued a triumphant editorial Thursday, "Republicans, Unplugged – A diverse America hear the right-wing appeal to fear and resentment and didn't buy it."
We’ll leave the Republicans to their discussions in quiet rooms in the hope that at least a few are suggesting throwing out their old and failing playbook, seemingly written by and for a dwindling society of angry white men.
....But the Republicans don’t have a Hispanic problem. They have an America problem, a country that is growing more diverse and, on a wide range of issues, shows a sensible moderation and social tolerance far out of step with radio ranting and Tea Party rigidity. Well, then, why did one of your articles state that the country, at the state level, move further to the right? Why did more states elect Republican governors, and legislators, and other state officials. If the party is fading Mr. NYT writer, then why did it gain strength state by state?

I would not say Republicans are the party of “angry white old men”. I’d say they are the party of the people who pay for all the programs the Democrats create.

Of course not a single pub will criticize the NYT for demonizing white people which is exactly what they are doing. Also funny how the “smart” set can’t learn a basic history lesson of North America - as sure as the population changes, so do the borders.
The one good thing I do know is that the Gary Lady will dies before I do. Good riddance.
It appears to me that the NY Times suffers from bigotry. Bigotry of people based on age, race, and sex (old, white, men) is a vile hateful trait. I’d say someone needs to be fired for such bigoted crap.
