The New York Times issued a triumphant editorial Thursday, "Republicans, Unplugged A diverse America hear the right-wing appeal to fear and resentment and didn't buy it."
Well leave the Republicans to their discussions in quiet rooms in the hope that at least a few are suggesting throwing out their old and failing playbook, seemingly written by and for a dwindling society of angry white men.
....But the Republicans dont have a Hispanic problem. They have an America problem, a country that is growing more diverse and, on a wide range of issues, shows a sensible moderation and social tolerance far out of step with radio ranting and Tea Party rigidity. It wasnt just Hispanics who heartily rejected Republicans on Tuesday. It also was African-Americans, Asian-Americans, young people and, to perhaps the greatest effect, women.
Nicholas Kristof took the same "old white men' tack in his Thursday column, "Can Republicans Adapt?"
America is changing. After this election, a record 20 senators will be women, almost all of them Democrats. Opposition to same-sex marriage used to be a way for Republicans to trumpet their morality; now its seen as highlighting their bigotry.
An astonishing 45 percent of Obama voters were members of minority groups, according to The Timess Nate Silver. Many others were women or young people. Thats the future of America, and if the Republican Party remains a purist cohort built around grumpy old white men, it is committing suicide. Thats bad not just for conservatives, but for our entire country.
” a dwindling society of angry white men.” with guns and swords .... many are old with not a lot to lose . Lock & load gentlemen , for God and Country , one last time ....

Lodi90: Born free, won’t die in chains. FUNYT
Id rather be angry than be a Marxist Commie prick like those in the Dem party
“New York Times: —— Dwindling Collection of Angry, -—Old —— Men”
A little projection there, I guess
Well, then, why did one of your articles state that the country, at the state level, move further to the right? Why did more states elect Republican governors, and legislators, and other state officials. If the party is fading Mr. NYT writer, then why did it gain strength state by state?
What is the Dead Pool bet for when the NYT goes bankrupt?
Hey! Watch it you Nytimese jerks.. I resemble that remark.
Hey Clay. Clay Waters, yeah you.
Your article about the old and grumpy White men, yeah - - - - .
That wasn’t your way of sticking it to you editors at the NYT was it?
Maybe the big bosses?
No, you wouldn’t - - - - ! No! Not the OWNER of the NYT?! Hope he doesn’t figure it out!
I’m glad the usual MSM suspects all have their coordinated narrative out on why the GOP *lost* this sham election.
I would not say Republicans are the party of “angry white old men”. I’d say they are the party of the people who pay for all the programs the Democrats create.
I heard Rush talking about this today with a black, conservative, Republican woman today. The issue is that the Dems and the media get away with making Republicans look that way. We need a fighter to show the way. Allen West for President!!

Of course not a single pub will criticize the NYT for demonizing white people which is exactly what they are doing. Also funny how the “smart” set can’t learn a basic history lesson of North America - as sure as the population changes, so do the borders.
The one good thing I do know is that the Gary Lady will dies before I do. Good riddance.
It appears to me that the NY Times suffers from bigotry. Bigotry of people based on age, race, and sex (old, white, men) is a vile hateful trait. I’d say someone needs to be fired for such bigoted crap.
