You are forgetting the Almighty. HE ALWAYS GIVES YOU AT LEAST ONE RIGHT PATH. You are frustrated and sad, so you just couldn’t think of one. All of your options are somewhat bad. Secession could lead to a lot of deaths. It might be a right way but at what cost?

So far, I’ve only thought of one potential way.

Change our party. Whatever it is called, it should focus on freedom for all, under the constitution. We would need to educate everyone about the constitution, and how we have gotten away from it. Our platform will include Freedom of Lifestyle as well. People can live according to whatever, their religion, cult, guru, whim. As long as it doesn’t directly hurt someone or interfere with their freedom, anything goes. Let them marry goats if they wish. The one social issue we have is that we are pro protecting life — of the elderly, the infirm, the unborn. We focus instead on a free economy, minimal taxation, small govt, only defense stays big to protect our freedom. We cut the groupthink the dems are into, and declare that all human beings are one: no more government or public declarations of groups, creeds, or races.

I think if played right, this could work. We need to think like the founders, and add their brilliance to our current world.

“A conservative is a liberal who got mugged the night before”

That quote is where we are at right now - not enough people think they have been mugged and too many are having a ball mugging society.

We need to go to our strongholds, stop walking the ‘streets’ and let the mugging hoards attack each other - I don’t know of any other way to wake up these liberals.

Once mugged, we will be there to pick them up and explain that they just got mugged...and what needs to be done to not be a victim to the muggers again.

The streets need to be fully bloodied to take them back.

Right now the Republican party is a lack-luster ‘Neighborhood Watch’ to the government muggers and their gang - heck, most of them are ‘fencing’ the muggers goods.

Take it Back

Unless you want America to be like CalifornicatingU land, the rest of America needs to separate the blue state pos’s from your money.

Start a boycott, buycott or avoidcott with the Blue States.

Don’t buy a product made or raised in a blue state unless you have proof its owners are not left wingers.

Don’t vacation in, or have conventions or business meetings in, Democrat blue states. Start with Nevada until the casino bosses get rid of Reid and send him home to have more time with his family.

Don’t visit CalifornicatorU land. Don’t go to Follywood movies and stay away from our products except those produced or raised by conservatives.

Avoid NY City like it has the plague. It has the terminal Bloomberg mental illness.

The Blue Staters hate you, your religion, your belief system, and your priorities in life, like your family members and friends. Let the Blue Staters try to live without your $’s.

Let the blue states sink on their own!

Save your charity $’s for red state people when disasters hits their area.

Take back the Tea Party from the groups that hijacked it (Freedom Works etc.)
go back to the grassroots that it was and not the money making machine that it is.

The libs arrived where they are by fighting a long war (over 100 years). I suggest that we begin a long war to take the country back for our children and grandchildren, even though we may not see the benefits. Some things we can do:

1. Use our laws against the libs - minimize your taxes legally, unleash a firestorm of lawsuits against libs (make them spend money to defend), avoid unnecessary compliance with onerous laws and regulations.
2. Kill liberal political careers at the local level - there is no such thing as a good local Democrat politician. Today’s Democrat school board member is a future Nancy Pelosi.
3. Dig into educational institutions, culture and the arts, local and state political and government organizations.
4. Never, never, never give up.
5. Take out Dem’s everywhere we can, replace them with conservatives.
6. Ridicule liberals and liberalism at every opportunity. Make it un-cool to be liberal in your corner of the world.
7. Pray without ceasing.

I’m giving up on politics for a while. When the moochers, takers and lazy who want a free ride on someone else’s dime can out vote we honest American citizens, we are sunk.

It will take national economic collapse due to over spending, run away benefits and individual irresponsibility to wake up our masses. Even then we are likely to get tyranny and dictatorship, instead of a constitutional republic which defers to God’s kind rules.

Meanwhile, try to live out of the government’s evil eye, take care of yourself and those you love by staying healthy by good practices and do honest work to put bread on your table. Get a marketable skill such as plumbing, electrician, engine repair, construction, farming, or health aide rather than office work. Do side jobs for cash or barter so government can’t rob you.

I just posted this on another thread:

There is the theory that you give him whatever he wants. And you make a HUGE deal of out it, with the caveat that he owns it.

What will that do? It will ruin the market and the economy in about six months. It will not destroy the country.

Within a short time, the outcry will come and the democrats will never win another election.

The alternative is to fight tooth and nail, and in the end the result will be the same for the economy—but the folks who are “resisting” will be blamed.

Sometimes in hand to hand, you allow the opponents momentum to carry them through to the ground. And then you take the base of your palm and shove your opponents nose through his brain.

I know this is hard to imagine...but the option to “do nothing” is ALWAYS one you should consider.

To add to this theory/option: The basis of this is that we know doing this would result in significant danger to the economy. But it would also show these folks for what they are.

I am not ADVOCATING this beyond tossing it out for discussion. I do not think many around here would see the logic in it, and it would be distasteful. But we obviously haven’t crashed hard enough yet to show how stupid Obama’s ideas are. Perhaps turning the people against the government in massive ways is the best way to win.

Get as far away from big cities as you can.

Pay as few taxes as you can get away with. Drive to a lower tax state a few times a year and stock up. Buy used when you can.

Starve the beast and be prepared to protect what you have when the coming collapse hits.

This country, as it was founded, has been gone for a long time. We’re whistling past the graveyard trying to ‘save’ something that has been effectively dead for years already.

What to do now? Live your life. That’s what I’m doing. I know this country is going in the crapper, but if you think Mitt Romney was the answer to stopping that, you need to start accepting reality and admit that he wasn’t going to really make the fundamental changes that are necessary.

At the beginning of this year, I was in a very dark place in my personal life. The relationship with my wife of many years crumbled and even though I tried as hard as I could to repair it, it wasn’t fixable. I was alone, miserable, clinging to the past, and feeling like things were hopeless.

Then, I met someone who turned all of that around and has given me everything I ever wanted and shown me that things are possible that I had never even considered. If I hadn’t gone to that dark place and clawed my way out, I never would be where I am now, which is a place where I am truly happy for the first time in way too long to admit.

I’m too damn happy in my little world to let the big world that I can’t control dictate how I feel. I’m a self-made business owner raising a child in a world where the US is effectively dead, so there are a lot of worries. We’re planning to bring another child into this messed up world in the very near future and I’d be lying if I said I didn’t have worries about that. But I’m not going to let Obama or RINOs or anyone else stop me from doing what is right for me and my family and I’m not going to let anyone, especially some politician I’ve never met, dictate whether I’m happy or not.

I’m happy and I’m going to stay that way. Anyone who tries to get in the way of that is going to find out exactly how serious I am about staying that way.

Move to a red state to increase their electoral votes. Not an overnight fix=)

Basically I think we need to let the Kenyan lead America over the cliff. We already warned them of the consequences.

The communist left means to eliminate us. If it comes to an absolute like the confiscation of guns, we have to be prepared to fight and die.

What to do now?

Weep for our children.

It may take 100 years for the American Communist State to implode, but it will just as the Russian Soviet State did. Meanwhile our children and grandchildren will live in a totalitarian slave state.

I am old and will not live to see much of what is to come, but I cannot see what can realistically be done to avert it.

Take care of your families as best you can and try to implant in them the memory of Free America and the hope for its return. Instill in them a love for God and family.

Resist.

or ...

5. Give up politics as an important principle of my life, accept the fact that the left has cemented its power base and the numbers will be with them until the country collapses under the weight of its own debt.

In this scenario, I will spend my time pursuing things with eternal consequences: study of the scriptures, increased focus on personal holiness and evangelism, discipleship of my children, investing in the lives of people for the kingdom.

Anything else, at this point, seems like a wasteful use of time.

1) Pray hard for a real, grassroots move of God in this country.

2) Become as self-sufficient as possible and do everything within your power to fight the beast.

For decades now, conservatives have been warning this country that liberal policies will bankrupt this country.

Even liberals have used this argument (pointing at republicans) saying that spending was irresponsible to the point of fiscal catastrophe.

What we found out in this election (if it was even legitimate) was that the 47% of people on some form of government assistance don’t really give a damn.

What do we need to do about it now???

Nothing. We have already done what we could.

It is time for this nation to learn things the hard way once again. Apparently the great depression wasn’t good enough for us to learn our lesson permanently. Those who lived through it are well into their retirement years if they havn’t already moved on.

Things will take their course naturally in God’s timing...
and when the proverbial sh*t hits the fan, it will be every man for himself... so I hope you’ve been preparing if you already know what is coming.

One observation, which I make for completeness, not to start a flame war, is that if #5 is self reliance, then there is a #6 which should be added to the list even if it is somewhat hypothetical in the modern world and if only for discussion.

# 6 Immigrate. It is what most of our forefathers did when they lived in Europe, Asia and elsewhere and why they came to the colonies or the USA. They looked at their increasing poverty, limits on freedom and opportunity, government oppression, restriction of religion and conscience, burdensome taxation and they immigrated.

If the USA is truly dead, so that "America" is no more, then what is left is a piece of ground and a country that is financially insolvent. Unlike the old USSR you can still leave, it is not easy but that door is not yet closed. What made America great is not the dirt under your feet but its freedom (both personal and religious) and opportunity. When that ceases, and it is rapidly vanishing, immigrating is an option.
