Ohio has been called for Barack Obama. Iowa went for Obama. Colorado went for Obama. Florida and Virginia have not been called yet, but those dont look good, either. The Romney camp is disputing the Ohio call. Karl Rove on Fox News says its not over. But the numbers dont add up for Romney. He was close. Valiantly close. But not close enough. (Update 12:57am Romney called Obama to concede and delivered a gracious concession speech.)
The Romney/Ryan team fought well and hard, inspiring Republicans and conservatives across the country to get out the vote and fight for restoration of our founding principles and free enterprise.
We have so much to be proud of tonight:
*Diligent Tea Party activists grew the limited government movement and organized producing winning candidates across the country at the local, state, and national levels.
*A new generation of citizen activists online helped contribute to the vigilant policing of media bias and White House lies on everything from Fast and Furious to Solyndra to Benghazi.

"I remain a proud, unrepentant believer in the American Dream. And I know you do, too. Freedom will endure because we will keep fighting for it. We cant afford not to, friends."
Many talk surrender here - how easily they decide to give up and run away...
I don't know WHAT I'm going to do, but I DO KNOW that I'm NOT giving up. I've got children and grandchildren to fight for. If nothing else, to set a good example for.
The mistake of Tea Party and of Mitt Romney’s team has been to make a one issue campaign focussing ONLY on economy.
It was the main issue but was not the ONLY issue and the others were and are also very important.
Education , family , religion , immigration , foreign policy...all issues very important for the future of USA .
Romney and the tea party look like they have nothing articulate and consistant to say about that, no vision on USA in the world as it is going today....
Obama and hese accomplices have a vision and i think it’s bad. It will weaken steadily and badly USA and change it
Even on the economy, Romney was pretty much muted because of Romneycare.
GOP elites always back down from these social issues.
They are rather willing to embrace progressives.
The GOP is dead, it was taken over by the Neo-Cons and refused to acknowledge the Ron Paul voters and Evangelical voters, who brought energy to the campaign.
It was those key voters who decided to stay home or vote third Party.
Romney ran on the platform of managing the economy better then Obama, that Obama was incompetent, not evil.
That message will never win elections
I’ll never believe that many people voted for obama. Nor will I believe Romney didn’t do much better than McCain did in 2008.
With that said, all of those who voted for obama knew gas is $4 a gallon, unemployment is horrible, insurance premiums have and will increase, taxes will increase, more lay offs are coming, etc. But they still voted for him. So “issues” was not the issue.
The problem is that just as Eurabia, the US is now Amerabia and the most powerful army on earth is now a tool of islam and communism.
Difficult spot to survive.
My grandchildren have been given a tyranny. I am crying again. I just want to disappear.
You can believe what you want but it won’t change the facts. People stayed home because Mitt turned them off.
It is no secret that the GOP os (ostensibly) the party of the right, and the right has been soundly rejected bu the freeloaders and degenerates. When people say it’s because the Republicans didn’t “reach out to us” or “articulate their message”, they’re lying and they know it. Freebies and immorality out the wazoo are what most of the present voting demographics WANT. They know roughly where each party stands on the issues without pictures, and they voted for what they want-what the left offers. Bread and circuses.
I am backing out of participating in politics now-I am de-registering, and this was my last vote. My fundamenatlist forebears were correct, to stay away from the dirty business of politics, and I should have listened to their wisdom. And they hadn’t dealt with anything like what’s happening now.
So that’s it. I retreat back into my faith and pay attention to my ancestors when they said, stay separate.
“You can believe what you want but it wont change the facts. People stayed home because Mitt turned them off.”
These high maintenance ‘conservatives’ need to be coddled with the perfect candidate otherwise we get a complete and total anti-American socialist.
We’ve done it your way twice and are 0-2.
Time to try something else. Clearly nominating moderates is a loser policy.
Love ya Michelle, but I fell for the okiedoke for the last time.
I mostly agree with that sentiment. I say mostly because at the federal level, the Tea Party seems to be far more effective getting people elected to the House than the Senate. Or, if you want to look at it from a more critical perspective, I think the Tea Party needs to vet the folks they back for Senate a bit better. Sure, we got Rand Paul in large part due to Tea Party backing, but we also got Christine O'Donnell and Sharon Angle (though to be fair, Angle's primary opponents weren't all that stellar of choices either, from what I've read), etc.
Still, I'm glad for the TP's efforts. They had a big hand in the GOP taking the House in 2010, and IMHO, helped keep it in an otherwise lousy 2012 election year.
They need their own exact crackpot. Ron Paul is a crackpot, a swine, and would hand the US to the arabs just as handily as any democrat. Following the Paul-plots on Stormfront over a number of years has been instructive.
Now, it seems even the nazists have gagged on him.
It is true that this country is split; Patriots vs. freeloaders.
Simple enough..
I voted for Romney, was glad to, have no problem with how he ran his campaign. I even left his signs in my yard today because I’m not ashamed of having voted for the best man running.
It’s not our candidates, in most cases it isn’t. We have good candidates and they mostly run good campaigns. My stars, look at some of the crazies and felons the left runs, AND gets elected. Start at the top with the loony, borderline moron Biden.
It’s the voters-racial minorities and white women who want freebies, the right to be as degraded as possible, AND have the remaining producers pay the bill.
They pitched a fit over the Moral Majority, screaming that they would force their theology on the nation? The Moral Majority were pikers, they never dreamed of forcing others to actually PAY for their goals, and the truth is that they NEVER tried to force anything on anyone, they only tried to keep a way open for the non-degenerate to have a place in the culture also.
You talk of “fighting”, tell me where is the battleground. We have been Alinskyed. Checkmate. It is over but for the shooting and with libtards running the gummint odds ain’t good. I would like to “fight” for it but there just isn’t anything one can do. The RINOs all think Romney was too conservative and the moochers now outnumber the producers. We been painted into a corner. Libtards like Teddy Kennedy put political IEDS in our road decades ago and now we are denied any path to freedom from this tyrfranical leviathan that is just beginning to rear it’s ugly head. The only weapon we have is to Go Galt and that also plays to their long suit. They have NO PROBLEM spending money they take from people who won’t be born for 20 years.
