"Diligent Tea Party activists grew the limited government movement and organized — producing winning candidates across the country at the local, state, and national levels."

I mostly agree with that sentiment. I say mostly because at the federal level, the Tea Party seems to be far more effective getting people elected to the House than the Senate. Or, if you want to look at it from a more critical perspective, I think the Tea Party needs to vet the folks they back for Senate a bit better. Sure, we got Rand Paul in large part due to Tea Party backing, but we also got Christine O'Donnell and Sharon Angle (though to be fair, Angle's primary opponents weren't all that stellar of choices either, from what I've read), etc.

Still, I'm glad for the TP's efforts. They had a big hand in the GOP taking the House in 2010, and IMHO, helped keep it in an otherwise lousy 2012 election year.

The TEA party has been great and I am so happy to have witnessed 1 MILLION people singing Amazing Grace in the Herat of DC. (Mount Doom LOL) But I have to say that when the Rats can steal an election in broad daylight ain’t much we can do. Now they have absolutely no reason to slow down. Or as he said, he has more flexibility.
