nor is it a rejection of conservatism

Conservatism was rejected during the primary.

But, notably, Romney had to sell himself as a conservative, and even O had to pretend to be Romney in order to get elected.

So, even a marxist has to pretend to be conservative to get elected, but the GOP grandees still fear to offer the real thing. We need to rebuild this party from the inside out.

[[I’m getting a little tired of all the “cheer up” bullcrap. How about conservatives get angry for a change.]]

I was sick and tired of it 8 months ago and said all along that this country was hopelessly going down hte drain because of a new generation of folks who feel entitled to everything for free- I said over and over again I wished folksl ike hannity, carl rove, sarah etc woudl stop their nonsense and thaT they were flat out wrong in their enthusiasm (not that it’s wrong to have enthusiasm, but their enthusiastic happy cheerful messages simply were NOT jivign with what we saw happening every single day- we saw this man of lawlessness gettign away with one outrageous thing after another- it seemed that at least twice a week the lawless one woudl do something that was more outrageous than the last lawless act, and we saw the public shrug their shoulders, and hte media not give a damn

Now, the lawless one gets to appoint two supreme court judges that will be America’s undloing, and Sarah and hannnity and rove and rush and others tell us ‘not to lose heart’? They can stuff it where the sun doesn’t shine because God’s Judgement is finally upon this nation, and He has handed this nation over to the sin they so desire and He has sent a powerful delusion to lbind them to the truth, ands we ALL ARE goign to have to suffer for the sins of hte few- The supreme court nominations WILL BE thsi nation’s undoing- the supreme court has already paved the way by robert’s assinine and UNLAWFUL claim that hte supreme court is not their to protect us from bad choices- that is PRECISELY what the supreme court is there to do and hwat they swore an aoth before God to do- protect thsoe who can’t protect themselves agaisnt rogue government- but roberts just washed the court’s hands of that respopnsibility and NOONE else on the supreme court lifted a finger to stop thjsi travesty of justice- Now with 2 more far left liberal nominations, thsi country will NOT be able to withstand the onslaught of sinful leftist rulings comign down from this court-

A beast has been unleashed to prey on Americans and Sarah tells us not to lose heart? She is more3 naieve than I ever imagined! Yes God is in coltrol, and Yes, we MUST trust Him, but to bury our heads and pretend this election wasn’t this country’s undoing and pretendign that we aren’t all goign to suffer for this in ways we never thought possible, she and all the other dolts tryign to put a positive spin on thsi terrible situation are simpyl out of touch with reality- just as some were out of touch tryign to put a positive spin on the Robert’s decision- there IS NO positive that can come out of handing the reigns over to a rogue government- none! (Except that perhaps God might spare the faithful few that still remain)

All we can do as a nation now is to pray and ask God to fogive us for our heinous sins agaisnt Him as a nation and pray that He be murciful and spare those that reamined faithful to Him the brunt of His wrath

The next 4 years we are goign to see the left unlweashed upon America- The dear leader was caught on tape declaring exactly that- he told putin that his hands were currently tied, but WHEN he is reelected, he woudl be free to deal with putin? America- dear leader told you point blank that if you elected him again- he was goign to unleash unholy hell on you-

Cheer up Sarah? Really? Go away- please

Here’s an idea. If you know a liberal business owner, don’t buy anything from him or her.

Been getting my clothes from Goodwill for a while now, not trendy stores or mail order. MAKING, not buying, Christmas presents this year .... from a cedar tree that went down in a storm this summer on the property. Buying rice, beans in bulk, no processed food. Eating venison, not beef or pork .... will be raising chickens after the 1st of the year for eggs/meat. Canning garden produce. Old car, not worth fixing, being sold for junk, not buying a new one. Lots of businesses are going to see a drop in the coming year(s). Should get right "interesting". The 'natives' will get restless when the money runs out & Obama can't keep them happy any longer with freebies .... they won't like 3rd world living standards .... NY/NJ already squawking about it (no electric, no water, no heat, no toilets, not enough clothes, food, etc.). Yes, I'm being pessimistic today - figure I'm due one day of being in the dumps. Tomorrow is another day.

I've been angry since 2008. I'm done with the GOP, and based on family longevity, I figure I got 7 more years at the most. I'm living it without elections, news channels, or politicians. As of today, the only concerns in my life are my two sons, our troops, and Israel. The rest can all kiss my ass.

“Perhaps a dose of justice rather than mercy?”
I’ve said this many times on previous posts and on occasion was flamed. I believe Jesus sat this one out because God gave humans free will. It seems that our will is to take any Godly virtues out of government, school prayer etc.

We need--each of us--to refrain from blaming others on our side for their mistakes, and do serious soul searching how each of us can, ourselves, be more effective, hereafter.

While the demographic trends are a disaster, Obama has cobbled together a coalition of very, very incongruous special interests. This, carefully handled by our side, can yet be his undoing.

Let's sleep on this, Pray over America's future, and return to action.

Sarah, more than anyone perhaps, knew what she would be up against and she knew that she would have to fight it alone for she did not have the support of her party. Do you really think she would have fared better than Romney. If she had, Obama would have just cheated a little more. If she thought she could have won she would have run. Maybe she was wrong and she would have soared to an untaintable victory; but maybe we have to learn how very bad life can be when we reject God and His gifts before we can appreciate someone like Sarah. I hope it doesn’t take too long and the the lesson is survivable.

Yes, there are many good conservative females but FAR TOO MANY females who only care about ‘charm’ and could give a rats ass about RECORD.

No...they care about abortion. They know that they can run around and screw everything that isn't nailed down and have the freedom to dispose of any 'consequences'.

That’s right. Get angry. This was a pitiful response to the most destructive President we have ever had. Republicans should be flat out embarrassed at the weak support we gave to Romney. Just watch. We got steamrolled and it’s going to be real bad.

I think you give females too much credit. ‘Abortion’ is an issue. Females didn’t vote for 0bama over any issues. Females submitted to their fantasy inter-racial desires with the black man and voted with their lady parts. 0bama even had this as part of his campaign because he knows what motivates female voters; ATTRACTION. Issues play no role in their decision.. It’s the ‘Elvis effect’, pure and simple. And disgusting.

Sorry, can't do it. I have lost heart. This election is no fluke. America had a clear choice this time, and it chose the dark side.

I have been involved in politics since the '60 election, and this is the one that has about broken my back. I have had this sense of foreboding since the '88 election, which I viewed as more of an endorsement of a Reagan third term than anything else. But since then, the electorate has basically chosen handouts rather than achievement, freebies rather than earning their keep. Given the state of the younger generations coming up and the dramatic influx of immigrants (illegal and not) who are for the most part imbued with an entitlement mentality, I see nothing other than total collapse that will change that. Trouble is, collapse of a republic or democracy generally results in replacement with a dictatorship.

Here in Minnesota, there’s nothing to be cheery about.

Our US Senate candidate got obliterated by about the largest margin in state history.

Constitutional amendments banning gay marriage and approving Voter ID were defeated.

The GOP lost total control of the state house and state senate.

Chip Cravaack, although admittedly a fluke winner in 2010, was defeated in his re-election bid for Congress.

And starting next year, a civil war is going to start in the state GOP between the Paultards and the rest of the party. The winner will inherit a state party apparatus that is virtually broke, financially and emotionally.

For all of my decades in GOP politics, this is about as low and bad as it can get.

To all of you tough guy antagonists that stand behind your keyboards and tell Sarah to go away: take your own advice. She is the one person that shares our common sense perspective and has a stage to promote it.

There is no advantage to slamming the one person who speaks up for your own beliefs.

Palin teased the GOP for months and then chose to take a job as a pundit.

We need to stop considering her as leader of anything.
