I want folks to think about this.
Why did we not want Romney to be the nominee? Wasn’t it because we didn’t buy him as a Conservative? Wasn’t it because we didn’t trust him to govern as a Conservative?
Why are we surprised that the greater populace didn’t believe his changed stripes either? We were kidding ourselves. I include myself in there with everyone else.
I tried to make the best out of two lemons, but I still wound up with something that was very sour.
Frankly, in some ways the electorate simply saw through what Romney was trying to pass off as Conservatism. They didn’t believe he would govern as a Conservative either.
We have told the RNC that we cannot win with RINOs until we’re blue in the face. They won’t listen.
Okay, then let them get the next nominee elected, because I’m sick and tired of trying to convince myself I’m just too picky, when everyone knows I’m not being too picky to object to a nominee like Romney in the first place.
And I read some 4-5 million less votes were cast for Romney than for McCain. McCain got 60 million.
Far more than 5 million more stayed home and didn’t vote Romney because we know a lot changed their vote from Obama.
Sounds like 7-9 million that voted McCain last time maybe did not come out to vote at all this time. Shame on them.
I hope the 2016 primary clown show is better than last time.
I agree... Romney ran a fantastic race.
I blame people who said that the polls were wrong. We as a whole were VERY arrogant and said the polls were crap. Guess what? They were right. Maybe if we had listened to the polls, we may have worked harder for the GOTV and have a different conclusion. Arrogance KILLED us!!!!!
This is bad. Very bad. But let’s be honest with ourselves, Romney would never been able to stand up to the lefts assualt. He had no clue who and what the left is. The demonization of him would have begun, day one. The one positive that comes of this is that we take away their villian of the extremist right wing president to blame the coming freight train on. The left owns this disaster.
And it’s becoming insurmountable. It will only get worse. Add in voter fraud in swing states. Scary.

Yep.
And goes to show that: The only thing dumber than the politicians, are the people who vote for them.
[Don't know if Mark Twain said that, but he should have.]
Palin / West 2016.
Start the conservative bus tour.
Problem is, Holder /Obama/Soros will be after them starting...now.
“Don’t blame Romney!”?
Why not ?
Anyway it is a fact that , after the first debate , he played the “nice guy” and adopted a softer tone.
After the Candy Crowley’s backstabbing , during the 2d debate , where he didn’t react , he didn’t make an issue about Benghazi , about islamo-terrorism and islamism and the famous “arab-spring”....
Dring the third debate Romney seemed to be agreeing with O. on his foreign policy
