I agree, this was not a Romney problem as far as I’m concerned.

The shift in demographics and political disposition has been well underway for awhile now, this didn’t happen overnight, and the trend has been clear from looking at past elections. Now it’s bearing real (rotten) fruit.

I agree. It’s the electorate.
It resulted from a 2 decade orgy of immigration from third world and latin hell holes. And from about 20 years of intensive propaganda in the schools about pro-gay, pro-abortion, America is evil, Islam is peace, everybody wins a blue ribbon etc.

The 18 to 30 generation is nearly a total loss. Nothing is more important them than homosexuality and free birth control.

Romney-Ryan failed to win the election because they failed to inform and educate the voters when they tried to not offend women and independent voters. McCain tried the same strategy and lost, and now Romney lost using the same softpeddling strategy. Reagan didn’t softpeddle and won.

How many people think the Republican Party will learn from these failures and conclude they must persuade people about the ugly truths of the Democrat frauds?

Romney could not offer free birth control. It is just that simple.

This is a really sick country, if you ask me.

I don’t blame Romney. Romney and his family did a very good job for us. I detested Romney in the primaries but I have come to respect the man. The man, not his politics.

Nobody could have done any better for us and I doubt anybody would have worked nearly as hard. Romney didn’t win this but he and his family certainly earned my respect. They gave up much to do this and I truly believe it was love of country and well, for his dad.

I thank him and Ryan. They gave up much to do this for us. I am just sorry that this country has deteriorated as far as it has, this nation corrupt.

Indeed it is, and contrary to what many people are saying, the electorate frankly have lost the ideals of earned wealth. Our country is pretty much getting salvaged as we speak.

a campaign based on lies, slander and hatred. That’s what he ran on. And that’s what he won on.

And that is what we are going to get for the next
four years or more.

Democrats are more vicious in victory, a win only
empowers them to utilize the power gained to their
further advantage.

Valery said it very well, they will not forget
who opposed them...

I don’t blame Romney at all. He ran the very best Reagan Republican style campaign that could possibly be run, given the MSM’s biases. He did everything right, and it still wasn’t enough. His loss has shown once and for all that the old Reagan coalition is no longer operative and cannot achieve a governing majority.

2010 was not a D+6 electorate.

I am not pleased...hope this turns around.

I fear by 2016, though, any sembelance of this nation at the beginning of the century will be gone.

Hunker down, love God and your family, and keep the bastards from winning. They cannot take your soul.

It’s the media. It has ALWAYS been the media. It’s a two against one fight before we even start.

Unless and until we conservatives learn how to use the internet and put together networks that can significantly influence news coverage, we got trouble.

Completely true article. Wow it really did turn out to be a DEM +6 electorate. We mocked the polls that showed that.

Anybody who thinks that any of Romney's primary competitors would have done better is seriously deluding himself.

GOP has lost almost the entire social agenda, across the board. Not because of Romney, who can advocate conservative social agenda in sane way (able to persuade some people)

GOP lost the agenda because of clowns like Murdoch and Akin. Murdoch and Akin were the best weapons Dems had in this election. They cost GOP the presidency, their own seats, plus number of other seats that were lost.

What is scary, when it comes down to it, Mitt Romney probably over performed given the position the Republican brand finds itself in.
