he old Reagan coalition is no longer operative and cannot achieve a governing majority.

You may be right, the choice was as clear this time.

But, I still think Reagan could have made it work. It is not encouraging that we would need another of his abilities and intelligence, not to defeat a far left candidate, but...

When he passed Romneycare that was the straw for me. I voted against him when he battled McCain, and I fought against Romney all this year.

Romneycare is terrible legislation and should never seen the light of day. Any candidate who espouses support for Obamacare or Romneycare is not going to get my vote. Ever.

The under 30 crowd is home base for him. Over 50 did not break for him in any way as hard as the young hipsters did. Outside of Texas and Oklahoma, and a few similar places, the under 30 crowd is nearly universal in their love for every known debauchery, and for Obama.

“Abortion should more properly decided in each state and not the federals. It’s a 10th Amendment issue..”

This btw was the exact position of the Whigs wrt slavery. Slavery is wrong and a person doesn’t stop being a person just because he is behind a certain state line.

You have to pick from those who enter the race. Then you fight your opposition with the one you pick.

What are you gonna tell the RNC? Make somebody else run next time?

Pick some loser like Goode who didn’t have the guts to run in the primary?

White people under 30 voted the same as their parents and grandparents.

White people under 30 actually voted more strongly Republican than any age category.

Here come the knives for the GOP social agenda. Do you think that supporting abortion is ‘sane’?

It's not what candidate's position is, but how you advocate for it. Akin and Murdoch caused the a huge setback to GOP social agenda. They probably caused GOP the presidency.

Let's continue with the damage Akin and Murdoch caused. A liberal SCOTUS for the rest of our lives, advocating left wing social agenda. Happy?

I am not blaming Mitt either. The electorate is to blame. We have reached idiocracy.

As I posted to someone earlier.

My country was greatly hurt tonight by Obama’s victory. My family and those I love will suffer much, it meant a lot to us, it was the last hope for some of us older ones.

The friend of my enemy is my enemy. The enemy of Obama’s enemy is his friend.

Tonight, I piss on Obama and his friends.

Just found this. MEGA DITTOS! Ryan was acceptable but Romney conservatism isn't Conservatism. Oh I held my nose and voted for him but once again the RINO GOP deceived us.

They will do it again in 2014 and 2016.

The GOP needs a flushing, BIG TIME!

It’s simple. A combination of the have-nots wanting the haves to support them forever. Too many people in the wagon and too few who will want to pull it in the future. That and demographics. Note that what we consider true conservatives such as Allen West lost also, so it ain’t just the moderate Romney. Even Romney wasn’t moderate enough of a conservative for today’s progressive and brainwashed masses.

We are screwed; indoctrination of our children by the liberal school systems, political correctness, and a large influx of aliens, both legal and illegal from third world countries have diluted our national unity. Four more years of Obama and our country will have twice the population of legal and illegal aliens from third world countries.

Trump is probably right that at some point another civil war will occur, although that too is doubtful because it would be one of young against old, and the older ones would lose because it’s hard to be an aged fighter. I think hibernation and (from a Steve Miller song) a “take care of me and my friends” point of view is all that is left. We have lost the patriotic American way of life. Sorry for the pessimism, but things are as they are.

And I read some 4-5 million less votes were cast for Romney than for McCain. McCain got 60 million.

Far more than 5 million more stayed home and didn’t vote Romney because we know a lot changed their vote from Obama.

Sounds like 7-9 million that voted McCain last time maybe did not come out to vote at all this time. Shame on them.

Bee, you can’t make a sale if the advertising medium are all busy telling the buyers what a crappy product you have.

WE HAVE TO FIGURE OUT A WAY TO GET AROUND THE MSM!

My ppoint is that abortion is homiceide, but then there is justifiable homicide in cases of rape or the life of the mother. A federal approach keeps the ‘rats in power. Some battles have to be state by state.

You called it a liberal moderate problem, but last time McCain came in with 5 million more votes than Romney, so I think we had voter issues.
Maybe we hit the tipping point of so many on the dole that the government party is a shoe in.

I don’t think so. Turnout was huge, from what I have been seeing. I think a lot of votes just weren’t being counted.

And with electronic machines, we can never prove anything
