Paul Ryan Left Red-Faced After Obama Sweeps His Home State Of Wisconsin…As Democrats Ride To Victory In Joe Biden’s Delaware

7 November 2012

Mitt Romney's vice presidential pick Paul Ryan in the end failed to help his running mate win the White House, and to add insult to injury, the rising star of the Republican Party was left embarrassed after losing his home state of Wisconsin.

However, the congressman's night was not a complete loss as he easily won re-election to the U.S. House seat he has held since 1998 and received a ringing endorsement from his running mate.

In his concession speech early Wednesday morning, Romney lavished praised on his would-be vice president for all he has done for their campaign.

Corruption, fraud and most of all evil.

I’ve woke up every morning since 2009 and told my wife that I’m filled with dread. Why? Because I can feel an evil entity within our land and within even our own children.

The generation we raised speaks of porn like they are ordering a sandwich.

My kids grew up in Alaska and Montana without TV. Just books and a few video games.

I’m lost now on what path creates decency. We’re overwhelmed today with smut and lies.

“I think the same people behind McCain’s campaign must have led Mitt wrong. He didn’t hit back at Obama on so many levels, thinking a positive campaign was going to do the trick. Be the nice guy, blah, blah, blah. That worked so well for McCain as well.”

Mitt was in trouble until the first debate but you can’t just put everything on one debate. I remember Newt vs Mitt. Oh Newt would be so amazing for debates. He wins SC after a great debate. For the next debate, there was no audience and Newt fell flat. He complained and the MSM gave him the audience that he asked for...except that it was stacked with RNC establishment types who cheered for Romney. Goodbye Newt.

Well, they did the same trick with Romney. They adjusted the format so that Obama would have a comeback.

Bush never hit back when the Dummycrats and MSM hit him. He just let the lies pile up. I blame Rove for that.

All these GOP consultants should be fired. They fight like girls. Obama was target rich.

Just now on Fox, Jon Fund did not rebuke a Dummycrat who blamed Bush for the unemployment. She claimed that Obama didn't have enough time to solve the unemployment. It was Obama’s damn stimulus that grew the public sector and not the private sector. This is what is strangling the economy. How effing hard is that to explain. Our pundits and the GOP consultants should all be fired. They are absolutely useless!

Don't worry though, the GOP is drooling at the chance to run Jeb Bush for President in 2016.

With a financial crash guaranteed before then, Jeb is now a mortal lock to win the nomination and probably also the election in 2016, with Rubio as his VP. That won't fix the damage, but the Democrats have no bench and their likely nominee will be someone like Evan Bayh, who isn't going to bring the leeches out in droves like Obama did.

I am against EATING OUR OWN — Mitt Romneny wasn’t my first choice — Herman Cain was — but Mitt Romney is a very good man — Mormon or not — who cares! — his values are the same as a good, upright, spiritual, moral person.

Paul Ryan couldn’t have been better — he’s the loveable, school dork who knows all the details of finance but someone you can trust.

Who opposed them? America’s first, beleageured Black American President and a Turrette’s Syndrome Vice-President Joseph Biden.

They won. Four more years...

My fellow Americans, unfortunately, are

I don’t think it matter who ran against Obama.

If Obama’s supporters could not (or would not) see what a horrible President he has been, because they are too freaking stupid to even pay attention, they won’t notice who the GOP is running and will believe all the lies the left throws out there about them.

So true, Romney crowds reflect that, God protect Israel, He has judged us, it’s not good! I think Obama hasn’t visited Israel for a reason, he is the deceiver, lord of lies!

Ariel Sharon is Methuselah, once he dies, it’s judgment, once it was water, this time, it’s fire.

Here, Here. Agreed. I am proud of both of them and of my vote for them. Not proud of fellow Michiganianians. Let Detroit Go Bankrupt op-ed did not help Romney in rust belt states at all. I knew at the time Romney wrote it that it would come back to haunt him.

>>>>”They adjusted the format so that Obama would have a comeback.”

Which leads me to a question I’ve always wanted to ask:

Why does the GOP accept the formats and moderator choices from the Debate Commission? What would happen if they just said “no”, or if they insisted on a moderator like, e.g., Brit Hume or Bret Baier?

I may post this in a new thread as well as here, but before anyone trashes Paul Ryan, I recommend listening to these two interviews from a year ago with Peter Robinson on the Internet show “Uncommon Knowledge.” I think Ryan is quite impressive.

>>>>She claimed that Obama didn’t have enough time to solve the unemployment.

That’s a very common statement amongst Obama supporters when confronted with unemployment stats. Of course, if you were ask that person if she’s confident in her knowledge of economics, she’d either have to lie or say “Well, uh, actually, I don’t know anything about economics.”

Her statement was simply a MEME, repeated from someone who simply doesn’t want to think.

It’s not new, by the way. Even into his 3rd term as President, FDR continued to blame Hoover and his policies for the fact that the US was still in a depression (”I need more time!”). I’ve found that the meme is bullet-proof against facts and logic: I tell them that unemployment under Bush averaged about 5.5% over his two terms and that unemployment under Obama has so far averaged over 9% (we had two months, I believe in which the stats peaked 10%). I tell them that Reagan inherited a worse economy from the debacle of Nixon-Ford-Carter, with high unemployment AND high interest rates AND high inflation AND a gasoline shortage AND a hostage crisis AND the usual threats from the Soviet Union. Risking unpopularity, he untangled all of it, and created tens of millions of new jobs by the time he left office. I tell them that the explosion of the personal computer industry came about because of all the investment and R&D that was made possible (and profitable) earlier during Reagan’s tenure.

It falls on deaf ears.

You can speak to an economics student like that (if he’s a graduate student), but the ordinary working Man In The Proverbial Street? Forget it. Frankly, I’m unsure what kind of argument to make to such a person at this point.

Obama always referred to the Bush years. This left an opening for Romney and the GOP consultants to say, no way Obama....we are talking about the Reagan years, high growth, low unemployment, a decrease in marginal tax rates and an increase in defense spending. You Obama have done the opposite of Reagan. You grew Washington DC but let the rest of the country wallow in a recession that is now going on for four years. The Romney/Reagan economic policy will bring a new morning to America. You have only brought a Carter like misery to America.

They accept it because the Commission on Presidential Debates is jointly owned and run by the Republican and Democrat parties.
