This is the last time I will be voting in a national election. I am in my 60's and have concluded that, if this is the kind of governing Americans want, they should have it...and all its consequences.

Sour grapes you say? Perhaps. But after four years of the most abysmally failed government with consistently high unemployment, 16 trillion dollars in national debt, downgrading of our bonds and monetary system with printing of dollars by the Fed, attacks against freedom of religion, a loss of American leadership in the world, class warfare, homosexuality embedded in our fabric, our nuclear family deconstructed by government policies, gun running to Mexico and lies about it before Congressional hearings, refusal to protect Americans serving in our embassies across the globe, an energy policy that has tripled the price of gasoline at the pump, a Justice Dept that treats people not according to an equal application of the law but according to politics, a politicized press that is derelict in adequately informing the people about its government, attacks against free markets and capitalism, and on and on and on...

If given all this, the American electorate is either too blind to see or thinks that this exemplifies good government, then have at it. Just count me out.

But, some day perhaps people will wake up. My guess is that it will be too late and things most cherished - civic values long held dear - will be gone forever.

In the meantime, this retiree will collect his pension and social security and together with savings watch those younger and smaller in number figure out how they will pay for all the 'government hand-outs' and supportive services the 'baby boomer' generation that is about to retire will require. All the time doing so without the tax revenue on the income they earned while working. They will have to figure out how they, a very much smaller cohort of taxpayers will make up the difference.

They will need to come up with some better ideas than one Barack Obama and his list of accomplishments from 2008 to present. Good luck but you won't be seeing me at the polls ever again. It's been a ride. Adios, Americanos.

I know what you feel like. The wife and I decided months ago that if Oslimey won we would shut down our business. A business that provides a reasonable living for six families. A business that pays a crazy amount of taxes and we paid enough personal income taxes last year to live on for three years.

Knowing all we know now concerning upcoming increases in taxes we have decided to shut it down and go full retirement. The only question now is whether we stay in this country as well as keep our money here or in a foreign bank.

The fiscal cliff is coming and the crash when we hit bottom is going to be suicidal for this country. I know how to get the money out of the country, I just don’t know which country we want to move to.

About this election, I said time and time again: It’s not Barack Obama who is the problem. The country will always have it Lenin, Stalins and the like.

What is the problem is the American electorate. If all these people can motivate themselves to get to the polls to vote for four more years of handouts at the price of their constitutional liberties, there’s not much I am going to do about that.

The only thing that can move Americans in the right direction are the consequences of their decisions and the misery visited upon them. When they have had their fill of it and are unwilling to bear any more pain, they will look for REAL change. But my guess is that it will be too late; they won’t know what good government will look like and will be unable to re-create it themselves.

Monday I was thinking about just this subject and how people back then
had no earthly idea what they were about to get into.

We vote for small government and freedom, Republicans etc. The foreign immigrants (mostly hispanic ) and blacks make together up now around 30% of the population. then you have the media which adds about 15% points. so you have at least 40% right there and all there needs to be is 20% white liberals to have a solid majority for socialism/democrats/tyranny. It’s us vs them and until we realize that it’s not our fault this is an invasion aided by traitors inside our country as in the liberals in the media. this is a war and we have to realize that first of all and unite us real Americans.

One needn’t worry about Obamacare and not getting healthcare services needed if you’ve been diligent and have saved your money (unlike most of the young who haven’t a dime to their name).

There are off-shore medical facilities - cash only in many cases - provided by American trained MDs ad others for cardiac, orthopaedic and all sorts of other medical services required by older people like us.

Also, I’d like to hear more about taking money off shore to protect it.

Sure, it is easy to give up. That’s what Obama wants and why Obama kicked Winston Churchill’s bust out of the White House.

Indeed I could have foretold this outcome as much as 3 years ago. In reality it made little difference who won this election. For even if Mitt has prevailed he would still have come into office a leftist wanting to criminally take money from one group and give to anther rather than protect the rights of all men equally.

The truth is Our Federal Constitutional republic is dead. Technically the Federal Republic has been dead as long as the Federal Constitution has been effectily meaningless in its restrains upon the Federal government.

Practically the resulting democracy ceased to behave as a republic when the majority of the people their in started finding it acceptable to vote themselves money taken by the state from the pockets & liberty of a minority. Which of course from a review of history is the inevitable result of all democracies on their path to self-destruction.

Where we go from here is a simple question of whether or not you wish to stick around Sadam as it burns itself to the ground. It is clearly not within our power to stop this self-destructive process, just as it was not within the powers of the Romans nor just about any other people doomed by a democracy.

But we are not helpless There remains the potability that we could build a new Independent Constitution republic among those of us still lovers of liberty and Constitutionally limited Government. But obviously not with this lot of criminals in the present federation. Frankly and literally we would have to yourself off from theses criminals building a “wall” to keep them from stealing our property & our freedom.

Theses “walls” of course have names, country’s, nations, states. And that is indeed what we have to be talking about now if we wish to retain any part of our freedom at this point. We must find a way to build a new separate country of free men & women.
