Sarc, I hope
Romney should have blew him away regardless.
It is a Romney failure and a failure for the Republicans to realize that they can’t win against a liberal candidate with a moderate.
The republican party needs disbanded.

Thank you lovers of empire, Dominionists and drug warriors, AKA Jackboot lickers. Get back to fiscal conservatism and away from the theocracy and maybe they will come back.

The “Third Party Candidate Cost Us The Election” is just silly Liberal RINO nonsense
Someone that got .3% of the vote did not cost the GOP the election. Eschewing the base for PhonyCon ideas cost the election

I agree. What is the most important objective? Defeat 0bama? Or maintain some kind of political purity? Libertarians made their choice. So no more complaining about 0bama. You got what you voted for.

The establishment Republicans just can’t figure out that you don’t win national elections by running moderate to liberal milquetoasts.

The Reagan coalition is in shambles, and that’s our fault. Demographics shifted too much, and the left has controlled the media and academia for too long.
We frittered away our power when we had a real chance to stem the tide. The center is shifting leftwards.

I've said it before and I'll say it again: There should be no such thing as the Libertarian Party. The
GOP should be the home of libertarianism in this country. The Republican Party was once the party of personal freedom and personal responsibility. Not anymore. Now they're just the bankers for socialists like Obama. They don't care how much the big government give-aways cost or how much of our liberties are lost so long as the books are balanced.
Republicans have only themselves to blame for votes lost to the LP.

Before you go blaming Gary Johnson for our woes you should make sure you haven't been making a point of chastising libertarians away from the fold and also you should check to make sure all of the registered Republicans voted. For example in Ohio looks like a healthy quantity of R's stayed home. It seems tempting to blame the slim margin of loss on the slim margin of libertarians but if (a) Republicans gave them nothing to vote for and (b) enough Republicans stayed home then it follows that Republicans have only Republicans to blame.
At this point lashing out at potential allies (they must be such or you wouldn't blame them for the situation) is very much a losing proposition.

Sorry, AZ, but the blame lies squarely with the GOPe.

How about blaming the roughly 51% of Americans who are the parasites, the suckers, the race baiters, the stupid, the pep-rally addled "my team won" effing idiots who just voted away their birthright for a mass of pottage?
Oh no, it is way too easy to blame a small group of people who voted their conscience.
Stuff it where the sun doesn't shine.

You are welcome, we saved you the embarrassment of electing a RINO, that would have caused you great consternation, and the Republican party would have been dead for good. Now the Republican Party can assess the damage and become what a should be: the party of Ronald Reagan. You want to be the “consevative” party? Then run CONSERVATIVE CANDIDATES!!!!!!!
To: TheArizona
Keep running RINO’s and you’ll keep losing elections. Simple calculus really...

To be honest, most Libertarians I know would vote Democrat if no Libertarian were available.
I think the GOP got nearly all of the Libertarians who could possibly be convinced to vote for the Republican candidate.
The single unifying issue of Libertarians is not smaller government (that is the issue uniting GOP-leaning Libertarians, however), it is drug legalization.
Gary Johnson did not cost us this election. Women voters did.
