Thank You Libertarians

Posted on 11/06/2012 9:24:31 PM PST by TheArizona

It would seem our libertarian friends pretty much handed the election to Obama. Couple that with vote fraud and hello 4 more years of communism/nazism.

But you all can take comfort knowing you voted your conscience and your vote counted... For Obama...

Yes, thank the ‘stay at homes’ and the ‘third party’ voters for helping the keep the Marxist/Muslm sob in the White House for another four years.
America is now lost.

If it isn’t in the Constitution, or my bank account, it doesn’t matter, regardless of who you quote,

You have an african kingdom and your freedom is gone.

Libertarians did not cause Obama to win this election, greedy citizens (and non-citizens) voted to give themselves more of what Obama promises to tale from those who work and pay taxes!

I agree. What is the most important objective? Defeat 0bama? Or maintain some kind of political purity? Libertarians made their choice. So no more complaining about 0bama. You got what you voted for.

Um, the whole point of a political party is to have a group who share the same goals. Without that sort of unity, how can it attract anybody whose vote they didn't already own: that is, if they stand for nothing the only people they will attract are those that will fall for anything. -- So in that sense it is impossible to defeat Obama by giving up being a political party.

Did we get what we deserved? Probably.
Most of what evils we are facing are not in the realm of the executive, but rightly belongs in the Legislative (Congress)... they could, if they were not so timid, radically change the country: (a) by limiting cases the Supreme Court has jurisdiction over, (b) by repealing bad law [ACA, NDAA, Patriot Act, the War on Drugs, EPA laws, IRS/tax laws, etc], (c) removing federal judges, (d) abolishing the Federal Reserve and going back to a Silver or Gold standard, (e) eliminating government departments, (f) eliminating government programs, (g) approving cabinet & USSC nominations.

You are welcome, we saved you the embarrassment of electing a RINO, that would have caused you great consternation, and the Republican party would have been dead for good. Now the Republican Party can assess the damage and become what a should be: the party of Ronald Reagan. You want to be the “consevative” party? Then run CONSERVATIVE CANDIDATES!!!!!!!

How about blaming the roughly 51% of Americans who are the parasites, the suckers, the race baiters, the stupid, the pep-rally addled "my team won" effing idiots who just voted away their birthright for a mass of pottage?

agree. Thearizona is a whining moron.

That argument doesn’t have a great deal of merit when you look at the Indiana Senate race numbers - Richard Mourdock was not moderate. The Libertarian candidate got a rather huge chunk of the vote there for a third party candidate, and enough to have given the seat to Mourdock with the current numbers coming in.

Keep running RINO’s and you’ll keep losing elections. Simple calculus really...

True enough...and the fact a sizeable chunk of the voters are fickle enough to switch their votes over photo ops following a hurricane.

Dave, the DOD is the Constitutional responsibility of the Federal Government. Do we need to change the global role of our military? Yes. But we shouldn’t butcher its budget. The majority of other Federal Departments oought to belong to the several States rather than being Federal. Nowhere in the Constitution does it say anything about the environment or pensions for all.

If our government followed the Constitution, we most likely wouldn’t be bankrupt.

Nope, Repubs gave a choice of bud vs bud lite, bud one the coin flip

You have to give people a real choice, other wise, it is nothing more than a toss up.

Brit Hume said that the election results proved once and for all that 80% of moderates that Romney was going after are liberals.

Conclusive proof that Repubs were fools to run a moderate candidate themselves.

Really....it is not the fault of Libertarians or even Obama. The votes are a reflection of what this nation has become. Face it, Romney sucked ass as a candidate. A Mormon liberal Republican from the northeast. He was a faker. If a voter wants socialism, then why vote Romney, just vote for the real thing.

No, that just shows you how weak the republican brand is.

A libertarian shouldn’t be able to get more than .2% of the vote.

Like I said, Republican Party is a failure just like the Wigs.

The establishment Republicans just can’t figure out that you don’t win national elections by running moderate to liberal milquetoasts

That is the problem right there. The GOP can not win being DEMLITE. Worse the GOP becoming DEMLITES has meant no real opposition for over two decades to the Liberal Agenda. Lott sold out, Newt Compromised his office, Frist was? Well Frist was a DEM running on GOP ticket who first nationally legitimized OBAMACARE even with the praise of many Freepers. The GOP keeps placing the most spineless Pansies into key leadership positions in the house then we see the results when Reid and Nancy get their way.

The GOP can no longer exist as it currently stands. It is two very different parties and the Liberals now Own It from the top down. The GOP has become the obstructionist to any significant change and ENABLERS to the Democratic Party.
