Galveston’s computers crashed this morning — down for a couple of hours. Voting hours extended by agreement from both parties.

8:54 PM, and ballots after 7:00 provisional.

Is 7 the usual closing time? Given such an oddly specific time, I’d speculate that there was a polling place that opened late by that amount of time.

What the hell does “provisional” mean? They only count it if things don’t work out the way the losing side wants?
