Thanks to intrepid investigative reporting — notably by Bret Baier and Catherine Herridge at Fox News, Aaron Klein at WND.com and Clare Lopez at RadicalIslam.org — and information developed by congressional investigators, the mystery is beginning to unravel with regard to what happened that night and the reason for the subsequent, clumsy official cover-up now known as Benghazigate

The evidence suggests that the Obama administration has not simply been engaging, legitimating, enriching and emboldening Islamists who have taken over or are ascendant in much of the Middle East. Starting in March 2011, when American diplomat J. Christopher Stevens was designated the liaison to the “opposition” in Libya, the Obama administration has been arming them, including jihadists like Abdelhakim Belhadj, leader of the al Qaeda franchise known as the Libyan Islamic Fighting Group.

Fox News has chronicled how the Al Entisar, a Libyan-flagged vessel carrying 400 tons of cargo, docked on Sept. 6 in the Turkish port of Iskenderun. It reportedly supplied both humanitarian assistance and arms — including deadly SA-7 man-portable surface-to-air missiles — apparently destined for Islamists, again including al Qaeda elements, in Syria.

What cries out for further investigation — and debate in the remaining days of this presidential election — is whether this shipment was part of a larger covert Obama effort to transfer weapons to our enemies that could make the Iran-Contra scandal, to say nothing of Operation Fast and Furious, pale by comparison.

I didn't read the article but if you analyze all of 0bama's comments and strange absence of his willingness to say "terrorist attack", "terrorist act" or "war on terror", it's CLEAR that he is going out of his way to PROTECT the terrorist organizations, including AL QAEDA.

WHY? Because he was either colluding with them to stage a kidnapping of Stevens OR he was colluding with them by funneling heavy weapons for their battle to hijack the revolution in Syria. 0bama should be immediately arrested and brought before Congress for prosecution for treason. There are MANY counts against 0bama, to include abandoning troops in distress (Sean Smith, Glen Doherty and Ty Woods). 0bama's every movement must be investigated on that day/night and the following morning.. Who did he call, consult with, what time he went to bed, etc..

IMHO, the attack was pre-arranged as a hostage taking kidnapping; if not originated in the Oval Office, at the very least accepted and blessed there.

What the White House naïvely bought into IN ADVANCE was a scheme to allow Amb. Stevens to be kidnapped and held for ransom.

Obama and Valerie Jarret desperately wanted to show Obama as the Master Negotiator, a mensch capable of doing what even the Great Jimmy Carter couldn’t: successfully redeem hostages from muslims, and just in time for the election.

As an added bonus, it would provide the all the cover needed to release the Blind Sheik and all the “political” prisoners from Gitmo.

Stevens was left alive at the site. The alleged kidnappers just left him there. He was found alive by the looters and died at the hospital.

We need to be careful of swallowing false bait conspiracies leaked just to make our side look bad. The left always takes the false bait (911 inside job).

The primary benefactor from the attack is Syria/Iran. They have motive. Al Qeada was getting arms from Libya. Why rock that boat ?
