Even though this is an internet poll. Yahoo does it every election day. The poll has so many people voting in it that it's hard for either side to fudge. In 2008 it came within 2% of the final result and acutally overstated Obama's margin by 2% (as good as most of the major polls). If anything it tends to oversample liberals as yahoo users tend to be younger and left of center.

Every poll I've seen has Romney winning by a large margin. If Obama wins this election, two words come to mind: voter fraud.

But, you forgot to factor in a vital phenomenon.. Yahoo MODERATES THEIR COMMENTS AND HAS A TENDENCY TO PURGE CONSERVATIVE ONES.

They DON'T have the luxury of doing this in their polls. That is why you see a disparity between 'Obama-favorable' comments versus Romney-favorable poll percentage.

I voted in Mississippi this morning... record turnout in my precinct... I recognized someone voting that I knew... he nodded... I said, “I wish that I could vote for Romney twice”. He said, “You ain't kidding”. A woman voting said... and I joking... “You betcha”... and another man said, “Amen”. At 7:30 AM in 2008 I voted for McCain and was the 9th person to vote. I voted at 7:30 this morning and I was number 98.
